Wanda, you paint a pretty picture of how well the Treasurers office ran while Joanne Gregory was there, but I strongly disagree with your belief that any of those accomplishments were a result of her skills, knowledge and work ethic. During the time she was employed at city hall, I had reason to spend quite a bit of time on the premises. She regularly arrived late, took long lunches, and left early. She did a lot more socializing than working. If all of those things were truly accomplished while she was there, it was in spite of her, not because of her.
If she truly didn't want the job, why did she step down from her elected position and quit her job to take it? |

Joanne Gregory was hired to be the Assistant Treasurer
after being there just one year the Treasurer was fired.
She was doing the job of Treasurer with just two clerks for
six months before they hired anyone.
And again for the record, I know she started early and stayed till
7 or 8 pm most nights and on Friday afternoons when most of City Hall had gone home, she was still in that office working.

| I believe Ms Gregory is a department head up at the Whidden Hospital. I can't see her giving that up for a job that could possibly be for only two years. I don't know her personally, just my opinion. |

I agree also that there should be a qualified Treasurer,
and it is not the guy that is in that office now.
Joanne does not want to work for Joe or Carlo.
And you are wrong about Joanne Gregory, she worked very hard to keep
that office going and did a great job.
She cares about Everett and the people.
She owns a house in Everett and has a lot of family and friends that are still in Everett.
Does her opponent own property in Everett?
