Has anyone else watched the latest School Committee meeting that took place on Monday? Haven't seen all of it yet but it was notable for a few reasons.

- FFF was not in attendence! Didn't see the beginning to hear why but it was mentioned in passing that he was under the weather.

- The new high school was accepted but the punch list still fills a notebook. The contractors will still be working there after school opens but from 3:00 to 11:00 PM so that classes aren't disrupted.

- Not only is Mr. Alconada not running for re-election, he resigned effective at the end of the meeting.

And the little tidbit about the fact that there is some code that says that when the firs alarm is pulled all communication shuts down in the high school. Alconada was upset about this fact. So, if an intruder gets into the building and pulls the alarm there is no way to warn anyone in the building. Sounds really safe!!!
