Maybe with the addition of Stat on the School Committee, it will entice more people to watch their meetings and follow what goes on with that part of city government, too.

| The school committee meetings are admittedly hard to get through sometimes. They also seem to take on a lesser importance because the live meetings are usually on at the same time as the common council. But the repeats are on a lot so you don't have to watch the whole meeting at one time. I try to get thru the whole meeting once in some fashion during the two weeks that they are usually on but I can't say that I always do. |

| I don't know if Stat will be able to make much of a difference, he is only one vote. I only voted for two people in the School Committee, Stat and Mr Guiliano. At least it's a start. |

Awesome! I remember the night we strolled down memory lane. That was a fun night remembering how Everett used to be.
I found this link andf have been reading all the archive stories from an ex Everett resident.You must be logged in to see this link.
Try it out, brought back some great memories for me.. |
