And Sally - there are a number of ways of "looking" at the colon, as pointed out by Citizen, and who knows what procedures Mr. McGonagle underwent at the hospital....unless you were actually in the room. Where you? How about your uncle - was he there, too?

Any chance we can change the name of this topic to something other than "Department Heads"? It's a little frustrating when I come on and expect to see a relevant comment only to read a useless debate on Joe's colon.

Good Idea....any chance of having any non relevant comments deleted (or moved to a "Joe's colon" topic going forward).

As far as department heads go....I'm confident that the Mayor elect will be putting qualified people in place. I suggest we all give him the opportunity to get through the transition phase.
After reading todays Globe North article....it looks like he is already off to a good start.

I agree that we need to give the Mayor-elect a chance to prove himself. I'm concerned by some of the things I hear, but I'm waiting to "see" what there is to be seen before passing any judgements.
