There is no doubt that it's between Obama and McCain. I don't like either one. No offense to Barak Obama ,but it sounds to much like Osama, and I don't think anyone will ever get 9-11-01 out of their minds. |

Obama mentioned his church on Oprah.
This is the church's website You must be logged in to see this link. visit the site and judge for yourself.
Item #4 is disturbing because of the lack of the mention about our great country, America.
McCain served his country in the military and fought for our country and is a genuine American hero. While McCain was a POW in a filthy prison camp in North Vietnam, Barack Hussein Obama was taking lessons in a Muslim school in Indonesia.
Was Obama in our military? was Hillary?
My vote goes to the American Hero.

I don't think serving in the military is necessarily a requirement for being President (and I come from a family with a long history of military service), but I agree with you Emile that John McCain is an American hero.
What I'm tired of with Obama is the notion of "change" and "hope" -- the same nonsense that Deval Patrick spouted, which as gotten us exactly nothing so far. Change what? Hope . . . about what? "Together We Can" . . . what?
To be honest, I'm sick to death of all of them, and I don't think I'll know who I'm voting for until I walk into the voting booth in November. |

I can't keep track on how many times I have changed my mind on which Presidential candidate I will vote for in November. Now that we have three remaining front runners my choice has become clearer. Our nation's defense is one of my most important issues. I think McCain will be the strongest in this area. There are a lot of areas that I don't agree with him on. He is too much of a liberal conservative, but less liberal than the other two candidates. So, as it looks right now, I will be voting for John McCain. |

Exactly - "Together we can" - what? The new governor has delivered a budget based on casino revenue from casinos that haven't been built....while local aid has been flat-lined.
There have also been more than a few observers questioning just how often Mr. Obama sounds just like Mr. Patrick. It's been coined "Devack" for a reason. You can see the videos here. It's deja-vu...which won't be lost on the Republican opposition. They will be tying Deval around his neck, with his neophyte mistakes in his first year. Mistakes that the new President can't afford.
Anyway - here's the link to the Obama/Patrick videos:

Lynda,
I am a registered Democrat, too. I think there will be a lot of us crossing over and voting Republican in the up coming Presidential election. |

Senator Obama is making a very important speech on race this morning at 10:15. He will be addressing his pastor's anti American sermons from the pulpit. This issue has the potential to derail Senator Obama's campaign. Anyone have any thoughts on this issue? |

I agree. People are voting for a color--not for the person. |

And...in his speech today his exact words about his "former pastor" is like family to him. I am shocked and appalled that this man is running for president and is winning by an alarming rate. |

I think it would have served Senator Obama more if he had distanced himself from his former pastor. I personally feel he just did not do enough with this mornings speech. After listening to Reverend Wright's rantings, I think maybe we see an insight to where Mrs Michelle Obama was coming from when she said, "this is the first time in her adult life that she is proud to be an American." Until now I never thought of Senator Obama as being a "black" candidate for president. I always thought of him as just another American candidate for president. For me, his race was never an issue. After today's speech, I am afraid race will become a huge issue and it will divide this country and set our race relations back. |

Geraldine Ferraro was on target with her comments.
Barack Hussein Obama has not put forth any solutions to any problems other than spouting rhetoric about everyone coming together.
He is where he is right now because no one will bring forth any valid issues of his wrongdoings for fear of being called racist.
This country is going to hell because of political correctness.
Bye the way, he is still a member of the same church after all this dust settles.
as I said before,....This is the church's website You must be logged in to see this link. visit the site and judge for yourself.
Item #4 is disturbing because of the lack of the mention about our great country, America. Item #7 is irritating as well.
This church is in itself a racist organization. Read the website and make your own opinion.
Here is a quote from the front page of the website.
"We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community."
Does anyone think this sounds racist????....
Does anyone really think that Barack Hussein Obama sat there in church and never heard his pastor rant racist teachings? Of course Obama did, he just won't admit it.

Emile,
I sincerely hope people can see beyond the mans ability to speak a good game and see the real person. This is just too important. It has nothing to do with race, it has everything to do with what is best for America. |
