This is the best job the City has done in plowing snow in a long time.

Almost every street ,including side streets, was down to bare pavement this morning.

GREAT JOB !

The main streets are great but all the side streets in my area are a mess, but still better than the last several years.

My street is still snow-packed; but, the other few streets I was on yesterday were down to bare pavement and plowed wide though.

Part of the problem with the sides streets, especially, I think is that people insist on throwing the snow back out into the street, especially if they use snow blowers. Once the plowing is done, it's done. The city isn't going to come back around and plow again simply because people behave in this way. And by the way, I believe throwing snow out into the street violates city ordinances.

I agree the plowing has not been this good in a long time. That being said, it would be nice if they started enforcing the side streets more. They need to come up with a plan for the side streets. Two cars can not get up and down side streets and I have never seen the odd/even rule enforced for the side streets and they need to be. I know some people don't have driveways but I let a neighbor park in mine then when a spot becomes available or the emergency is over, she moves it. "Sometimes" working with you neighbors can alleviate the problem.
