I became aware of a situation this week where a child was suspended from school for 9 weeks. After someone called and blamed everyone but the student for the infraction and made false allegations against many students, the child was allowed to return to school after one day. I was wondering how you all feel about the treatment some kids get at EHS. I expect my child to be treated fairly and I do not understand why this does not happen. I think they are sending the wrong message to the kids. Screw up and depending on who you are or who you know you may or may not be punished for it. By the was I hear after the "pardon" the same child was suspended again for another infraction after he returned from his 45 day turned one day suspension .
I think the reason you had no response to your post was that the Bob Shea story happened around the same time.
As most times, it's not who you are but who you know. It certainly doesn't surprise me that it is going on in our schools. The parents of the students that were wrongly accused should be up in arms. I know they wouldn't be able to shut me up. Look at the example Freddy sets for the students, break the law, and keep your job. It is really sad.
