One of Everett High's star athletes was arrested. It is in the police blotter today. I am shocked FFF did not stop it from being printed. Or that the cops arrested him at all. It used to be that they flashed their rings or coats and got away with everything. Nice to see that at least one kid is being treated like every other kid. Well, actually two of them because one family put their athlete in Stoneham High because he was being treated like every other kid at the high school and did not want to serve his 45 day suspension.

I have three words "ONLY IN EVERETT" you know I don't live in this city anymore but I do read the forum and from what I read it is very sad, I like Carlo but not as mayor material but I know we have to give him a chance and I will and come back after his 100 days, when driving through everett last week I notice the steets are cleaner and I was happy to see that and now to read about a star athlete being arrested it just brings the city down, I know we can't control our kids lets face it there is no more RESPECT

cont'd) in the city or for that matter in any city, where I live you see the retire police officers walking a beat, I hear that Everett just passed that bill and the chief should get off his wallet and do something like that and let the day and nite officers handle the calls. Seeing a beat cop is like gold in our community Everett needs to move into the 21st century..

Arrested for what? Did they say and is it a football player? I think football is the touchiest subject for EHS.

Yes, a football and basketball player. Possesion of a controlled substance. I believe his father is a coach also. He has a different last name.
