To Whom It May Concern:

I have just received an email message this morning, accusing me of sending out "packets" to the Board of Alderman and Common Council. At this time, I don't know that any "packet" even exists, but let me say plain and clear I DID NOT SEND ANYTHING TO ANYONE REGARDING THE SELECTION OF THE NEXT EVERETT VSO; HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF DOING SO; AND THE ONLY REQUEST I EVER HAD IS THAT THE CITY PICK THE MOST COMPETENT PERSON AND DO SO LEGALLY.

If in fact there is a packet out there or if someone is purporting to be me sending any material I am warning you right now - any attempts at using my name or someone purporting to be me will be reported to both the Everett and State Police for fraud/identity investigation. If in fact there is a "packet" out there, I strongly suggest someone take proper ownership of it without delay.

If in fact a packet exists, I have one message for the person or persons behind it: Leave me out of your little games.

I have no public comment on the operations of the Everett Veterans Services office and my personal and private opinion, will remain just that.

I'll make any further comments through an attorney if need be.

Why are you bringing this to our attention? If anyone here had been aware of it, and thought it deserved attention, they would have posted it.

For someone who doesn't want to make any public comment, you're doing a pretty good job of contradicting yourself.

It's probably time for you to move on...............
