I just heard he was only going for the Charter Review Commission and nothing else.............. Personally, I'd just like to see him go AWAY! |

I agree with the last part of you post. I wish he would just go away, too!

Well......Once we are certain, that will be good news.
I heard Brian Zaniboni from city services is so nasty to all the employees and he verbally attacked a worker and the poor man had a stroke, and he's only in his 40’s.
I also heard that city services is no longer using the gas cards and the gas use is all on the "honor system" with no protection.
I’d like to see the true usage on that. I wonder how many times private vehicles are being filled, both employee and vendor.
I am hearing there was more than a verbal attack on the employee, anyone know anything?

I heard it was strictly verbal HOWEVER, the man is extremely rude, abrasive, and combative and seems to be disliked (hated is the word generally used) by just about everyone he comes in contact with. I also understand the employee in question has filed a suit naming the city, Zaniboni, & the union.
I realize the "boss" is frequently not the employee's favorite person but this man isn't anybody's favorite!
I believe there have been several employees who have filed suits because of him. I sure hope he's worth what he's costing the city............... It's obviously costing us more than just his salary! |

Which man is rude, abrasive and combative? The employee or the boss?

The several employees that have filed grievances and suits should get together and all be named in one LARGE suit. Too many suits will take too long, and go astray. I hear they all have rightful cause.
Oh....and they should sue the Mayor, since he's not doing anything about this Zaniboni issue, and now we have a man that suffered a stroke.

I was told there was chaos up at city hall after this incident took place with Zaniboni and the employee.

Guess I wasn't very clear.............. Zaniboni is rude, abrasive & combative.
The most mild mannered people describe him with words that I never hear them use and would need to be written like this: @%^&*#
Seems like the best thing Carlo could do is dump him but at the very least he needs to reign him in! |

I'm not sure Carlo can do either. From what I hear, Zaniboni has a rich friend in a dumpy place who might be calling the shots.

Mr. Zaniboni was on disability for almost 20 years, then got little gopher jobs with Billy Thibeault. Billy then set him up as Carlo's campaign manager (since Billy had his personal reasons for wanting Carlo as Mayor) and from there, Zaniboni goes to City Services Director? The man has NO experience, he does what he's told (by the real boss) and it's now rather obvious that he needs a lesson in how to treat people like human beings.
For Billy, Zaniboni is an "in" with city services, Carlo owes him....so that's his "in" with the Mayor. HELLO - Billy is running the CITY!
Mayor Carlo better rectify this situation real fast. It's obvious this is on the same playing field as Clayton Carlise and better do something about Zaniboni, or we all are going to suffer.
The unions are livid, the employees are being mistreated and the ones with grievances are suing. WE will be sued, that's why I said they should sue Mayor Carlo personally, since he's not doing anything about it. Maybe Billy Thibeault can give him a job watching the Crow lane landfill, and away from people, that seems to be what he needs. |

One more reason why it's such a shame he doesn't have a viable contender this year. I'm told he can't be beat but no one can explain why. I'm really confused as to why he seems to be so comfortably entrenched in the corner office........... |

The only reason I ever hear is money, money, money....
What would be some names that you would think are viable?
