We all have our opinions on the performance of, and the morals that drive City Councilors voted in office to represent us. One thing is for sure about Councilor Simonelli: he has more biological gland fortitude then the rest of them, with the exception of Millie Cardello these days when she taken on the Mayor. Stick to it, Millie!! He has no quarrel “telling it like it is” whether it is Billy T. or anyone else. No regard for pay grade or rank of office; if it bothers him or his constituents he’ll bring out to the forefront. He maybe re-elected forever with this type of unseen constituent-loyalty. What is the problem with you Mr. Simonelli? Don’t’ you know that loyalty to your constituents is passé and that lining your pockets with gold is now the glorified and expected political practice?? Take lessons from his Honor the Mayor on this!! Simonelli’s strength is not in the argument that he proposes, for we all know that he is no Greek orator, but it is in his courage to face the issue. It does not matter if there are money or attorneys behind the proponent of the evil topic, Simonelli, like Saint George, will be ready, spear and horse at hand, to slay the dragon. He can be the hero of the distressed, and badly represented, Everett Citizen. I don't know of anyoneone else with such courage. I understand he is behind the organization of the upcoming Public Hearing on Wood Waste and this is what prompted my literary applause for Mr. Simonelli. Kudos to you, sir!

I applaud Steve Simonelli's efforts too. It's not Simonelli vs Wood Waste, like the papers wrote, It's Simonelli/Everett Citizens vs Wood Waste. He has a lot of support behind him.

I never thought I'd hear myself say this but Councilor Simonelli is proving himself to be a true man of the people. More than I can say for many of them.

There are a handful (and I mean that literally) that aren't in the proverbial big pockets of doughboy/Thiebeau. Just back the paddywagon up to the door folks....its a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!

Accountabililty..... each of them should be asked and made to answer before us all in a public forum... perhaps the newspapers could do that for the community.

Thank you Councilor Simonelli. You have shown you truly care about Everett and it's citizens. Now it's time for Everett to stand with Councilor Simonelli. He has put himself out on a limb for us, let's show him we appreciate his efforts and all who can, please attend the Public Meeting.

Simonelli a daddy again? If so, congrats to him. I'm a firm believer that the good get rewarded, and although he gets upset, his heart is good.

Oh sorry, he did mean the Mayor. The Mayor should not be so uptight!
