EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT MEDIA ADVISORY Contact Information: Lt Paul Landry (617) 394-2462 paul.landry@ci.everett.ma.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 25 November 2008 COUNTERFEIT ITEMS SEIZED Everett Police investigating an anonymous tip into the sale of counterfeit items from an Everett store seize over 400 items valued at over $200,000. On November 17th, detectives armed with a search warrant from Malden District Court, went to Al Sahir Mini Market at 553 Broadway and seized counterfeit Coach, Luis Vuitton and other make pocket books, wallets, sunglasses and watches. Assisted by Andrea Powers Investigations, who specialize in the detection of counterfeit commercial items, Everett detectives made several buys from the store located across from the old Everett High School prior to obtaining and serving the warrant. Said El’Antraoui, 38, of Revere will be summonsed into court for violating MGL c266 s147 Sales of Items or Services bearing or Identified by Counterfeit Mark. The charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT MEDIA ADVISORY Contact Information: Lt Paul Landry (617) 394-2462 paul.landry@ci.everett.ma.us FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 3 December 2008 SUSPECT ARRESTED Everett Police arrest a juvenile for stabbing two other juveniles in front of Everett High School on Monday. The incident occurred around 5:30pm, the male suspect who is 16 years old, was arrested at the scene by police. The two juvenile male victims, whose names are withheld, told police they had gotten into a fight with the suspect, who than pulled a knife cutting one of the victims across the stomach and than stabbing the other victim in the side. The injuries to the victims were non-life threatening but as a precaution were treated at the scene and one of them was transported to the Whidden Hospital, treated and released. The knife used in the incident was recovered at the scene. The juvenile was arraigned today in Cambridge Juvenile Court. |

I'll ask for the 3rd time...........What the bleep happened to the daily incident/ arrests on the EPD website! AND, yes I have emailed Landy, EPD, Mazzie etc. etc. etc. NO effin' response, I'll be SURE to support the next "Policeman's Ball"....NOT! |
