No mention of the time or the place, maybe a call to city hall in the morning would get that information.

You are all being fooled. This meeting will either not take place or it will take place after Carlo goes and gets the state's approval to move the piles down the line. That way, most will feel it's a lost cause. Where is he today? Meeting with the state about that matter? I hope the alderman are aware.

I have had the very same thought, Dreams. Do you know for certain that is what Mayor DeMaria's meeting with the AG is about? If true, I don't believe the residents of Everett will be very happy with our Mayor. I also hope the Alderman are keeping up with this issue.

It will get elected officials that just sit on their ass and collect a paycheck voted out. That will be my end result.

It will also show that we are the taxpayers, we are the voters and we have a say. We care about our city that is being DESTROYED and who is skimming off the taxpayers. We also care about other residents that are suffering and the environment.

There is a court order for Wood Waste to be shut down. WHY.....is it not?

It's the enablers that are filling their pockets and this will bring the truth out to the residents of Everett. It's time for the residents to be heard. We are sick of the lies from this administration.

Tails who got the court order? Was it the State or the City of Everett?
So should the State police be the ones to enforce the order and shut them down or should it be the Everett Police?

Mayor DeMaria's exact words were.....

"This injunction was sparked by my administration" so, my opinion is it's his responsibility.

He knew that order existed, he chose to ignore it.

He's the freaken Mayor. He has the ability to do so, but he chose not to. He also chose to keep it a secret.

I went to the public meeting tonight. It was very well attended. The folks from Newburyport were great. It was so good of them to come down. The mayor and two of Mr Thibeault's attorney's answered questions from the public.

It was shown live on ECTV16 and a replay is showing now. I'd assume it would be scheduled to run again as well.

I was surprised to hear that Mr Thibeault still does not own that property down on lower Broadway.

Yes, if nothing else, due to the amount of people that attended, our city officials know that people care about this issue. Of course, nothing was resolved, but I didn't expect it to be. Some of the info was stuff we all already knew and some was just plain BS. We heard the history of the Newburyport landfill from one of their councilors, which re-enforced my opinion of Mr Thibeault. We heard the stories from Everett people who have to deal with the smell and the dust and health issues.

One highlight that I did not mention, during the meeting the mayor and Mr Thibeault left the chamber together and raised voices could be heard from the direction that they went. I have no idea what was being said.

I thank Councilor Simonelli for persevering and getting this public meeting for the residents.
