Michael....the stuff about Borgonzi is very old news. The change in report for Al inspired him to go out on stress weeks ago. I didn't learn about Colleen Leo until I read it here...because believe it or not, I don't work in city hall...although my sources are usually pretty good. |

So, is Colleen currently employed by the city or not? I did hear she's not the only one who has issues with Valerie. |

I don't think that is true I asked around this morning and no one seems to know anything the only one's who can confiscate would be FBI or some other type of agency. |

I Know I am new on this blog, but as time goes by you will see that I don't write anything that I can't substantiate. |

Michael...Joey's got it right. The computers from community development, city services and the budget office were seized. If I was a betting man, I would bet it was the Inspector General's office that grabbed them. This is going to be a very interesting summer. |

Wow! I think that sums up whats happening, among a few other words, to this administration. Not only is Hanlon's people turning on him, but they're turning against each other! I feel like the Hanlon administration is like the Salem Witch Trials.
I saw Goodie Hanlon with the computer. I saw Goodie Vetrano with the computer. I saw Goodie Sheehan with the computer. I saw Goodie Galzaka with the computer!(Arthur Miller anyone?). |

The word at the Vatican is that Mr. Garron's attorney's subpoena'd the computersw which showed improper contract granting. The department's targeted are appropriate. If Garron's attorney did NOT subpoena then Hanlon is destroying evidence that may incriminate him and his staff.
That is actually His Holiness' spin. The Pope loves this diatribe and buffoonery in our fair city.
Court, nice to hear your comments. For your info, the Pup and I will be heading to the Plains of Nazca ( You must be logged in to see this link. )for more research. Dan keeps us busy. Thank goodness for the internet.
Regards to all.

The plight of our fair city is now reaching the ears of His Holiness? Oh my; we're either in deeper trouble than I thought or Pope Benedict has some serious time on his hands. Either way, I hope he's praying for us - we're going to need it. Perhaps, Emile, you could use your considerable influence to that end?
I feel very badly for Mr. Garron and his wife for their troubles at city hall. It's terribly draining to be drawn into such a web at this time in their lives. I have heard that he has a very good lawyer; I hope Mr. Krusevich has his Depends on for this one. He's the one who will have to defend it, because as we all know, Mr. Hanlon has a freeze on outside attorneys. :)~~~ At least that's what he said in his campaign ads.
It's a tough time of the year, Emile, to head to Peru, but I am sure you and the pup are up for the challenge. I did recently hear that the "gent" from New Hampshire wants to take another go at the plagiarism suit with Mr. Brown. Fools and their money, I suppose. Regards to all!!

Evidently the Mayor is not familiar with the concept of separation of powers. |

The mayor is playing the same game with the city council. He's upset that they cut the money from the treasurer's office, so now he's suggesting that something is illegal with using Simonelli's pay (which he can't have, as he's a school employee) to pay for raises for city council employees. Yep, it's just like the public meeting law thing....he's threatening to bring in the authorities.
I think this might be the right time for the city council to get their own attorney. Krusevich was incompetent during the McCarthy years (remember that multimillion dollar, multiple year BECO/Sythe ATB case he couldn't settle?)so there really is no need for the council to trust him now.
Instead of all this petty crap, John should probably just focus on running the city. This has the Vetrano touch all over it. |
