"I think Johnny Boy has been to kind and has tried to please everybody; he should get ready for one big political explosion that’s going to blow up in his face."

I said that at 2:00 on Monday May 22, 2006 and about 6 hours later it finally happens. Who called it? HAHA! Fred I hope he did get one tonight. I said it,it happened, and Johnny Boy deserves it.

Sally,
Go to the City Hall link and go under my topic "Is the Honeymoon Over." That will explain somehwhat of what happned last nite. I'll post new info on what happened as more facts come in on that topic. AS OF NOW what I know is that HANLON CALLED THE DA, NOT THE DA CALLED HANLON, and said that the alderman and the common council broke an open meeting law. Again, HANLON CALLED THE DA ON HIS OWN government. And both bodies are now going to be either fined or something with the DA, thanks to Johnny Boy.

I'm glad Hanlon did it because I think he made a few new enemies from this. Hey, the more headaches he gets the sooner he'll leave. Ravenisi for Mayor!

UPDATE: Look's like "Mr. No New Hires" has added another staff member to his office. Apparently, Ms. Vetrano, initially hired as the Budget Director, bit off more than she could chew so she moved into the Mayor's Office.

What happened to Hanlon's 12 Point Plan of no new hires? His staff has doubled in just six months! One can only imagine what is yet to come.

Ragucci ran his office with 3 part time receptionists (with no benefits) and 2 full time staff members - Hanlon couldn't keep his campaign promise for 30 days - he has more staff than people can keep track of:

Jack Doyle, Mayor's Driver (new position for his campaign workers)
Valerie Fulchini - Exec. Secretary
Joanne Grassiosi - Exec. Secretary (new position because she couldn't handle the position offered as Secretary to School Building position)
Jim Marchant - Ambassador (another new position)
The Colasanti's (the husband quit then the wife stepped in)
Ann LoConte - receptionist
Agnes Foye - - receptionist
David Ravanesi - hides in the Budget Office when in from FLA (new postion)
Colleen Leo - Exec. Manager (she's a story in herself)
Ms. Vetrano - title unknown

So much for a hiring freeze Mr. Mayor!

Ms. Vetrano is the budget director

I heard that the new budget is 7 million dollars over last year's budget.

Mr. Colasanti did not quit he was placed in code enforcement I think that was a smart move and what about colleen leo, Like the saying goes "What goes around comes around" and he will be a one term mayor unless he gets off his high horse and start taking control of this city. I mean who wants to see table and chairs on Norwood street, woman dress like hookers It's still the same as the Ragucci administration. only ragucci was younger

What's going on with the overnight parking? I had heard they weren't going to bother sending out new stickers. Is that true?

McCarthy's Budget Director, Beverly Dorman, is back.

Vetrano's in the Mayor's Office.

Yes, the budget is up $7 million - what a disgrace.

Well, Hanlon voters out thered - how do you feel about the:

Hiring freeze you didn't get?

The tax relief you didn't get?

The professional organization that you didn't get?

The campaign promises you didn't get?

The truth that you didn't get?

The mayor that you didn't get?
