I was just reading the article in the Herald on here that he isnt being arraigned until April 14 . Now in the news you see many many times that an issue involving sexual assault most places involved in this type of misconduct do infact place that person on an administrative leave. Hopefully at the time of his arraigment he pleads guilty and your city will release him from duty . |

I don't think he will ever plead guilty. He will end up putting the city through further embarrassment. Rumor has it, he has already tried to spin this that a political opponent set him up.

From what I'm hearing (as Tetris already stated) there isn't anything in the charter to remove him. They would have loved to remove people like the dude from ward 4 that did not show up for a year.
All this stuff screams for charter review. |

I understand it Massdee, I just think its a sad state of affairs that city hall is overbuget with Carlo's hires and these police officers whomever they are a being demoted. That was my point. It's sad and I know its happening everywhere but look at malden I don't remember reading the police or fire being cut that is the last place you want to cut, lets face it, everett is no prize anymore crime is up and the chief hides it. their web only wants you to see what they want you to see anyone with a scanner knows what is going on in this city. Its just a point. |

Here is another case Marcus he should be let go while under investigation there should be no pay for him by the city or mbta (unless they follow the rules)until the outcome of his case. That is what happens in the real world |

Before you get rid of Jason you also need to get rid of the Mayor. Has anyone heard if Bob VanCampen is running for Mayor yet. That Everett Citizen website was great |

I haven't heard of anyone running yet. Time is growing short. Is VanCampen or McGonagle going to run? We need someone. These two have the best shot. |

It looks like we're going to have a few more years of Woodwaste, big salaries and runaway budgets. As surprising as it seems, I'm hearing Carlo is in for a free ride this year. There are apparently still plenty of people who think he's doing a good job and no one is willing to make the run.
It's too bad it took so long for charter review to make it to the ballot. By the time anything can happen, the city will be in receivership and most of us will be bankrupt because of the ridiculously high taxes.
Why is it Carlo and the majority of our elected officials won't control the spending? What is it going to take before they realize they can't keep spending like drunken sailors? If they handle their personal finances like they do the city's, they must be living hand to mouth and screening calls to avoid the collection calls! |

Those people that think he's doing a "good job" are the ones that cant see past "clean streets" it was not Carlo that initiated the street sweeping, it was Steve Simonelli.
Then, once that was initiated, Carlo contracted his friends from GTA, and us taxpayers footed the bill for something that should have come from city services. He NEVER expected the reaction he got, when GTA was doing the street sweeping. As soon as the city took over last year, you could see the difference. I wasn't that great. Of course GTA did a good job, they were getting big tax paying money for it.
Charter review is here. Just a few more days and people can pull papers. I hope good, decent, smart people pull papers and run for this. One's that really want to make the right changes and give something to the community. I also feel if we go through another two years of this type of spending, we WILL be in receivership, and Carlo will keep on doing what he's doing........blaming everybody else. |

I wish they would expand some on the purchasing and procurement area of the site.
They have done a great job with the videos and love the addition of the music.

I too wish the site would expand on the procurement area and the ethics issues.
I just ROFLMAO at the video "bad day" In all seriousness, it's a good website, and puts it all into prospective.
