Sorry for any inconvenience that the truth may cause (sorry, I had to) but, the return address on the card is:

Committee to Elect Carlo DeMaria
PO Box 490761
Everett, MA 02149

I'm pretty sure that even the PO Box is paid for by the committee. It's the same PO Box listed on the DeMaria website where you can send contributions to the committee; I doubt those are going to City Hall. And I'd hardly call this thinking out of the box either; according to a press release on that website, Candidate DeMaria sent out a similar survey when he was first running for mayor. I think that I'd classified it as repeating something that he thought worked for him the last time around.

The questions in the survey are relevant to the current fiscal crisis and relevant to the current budget process. Simple

And if the campaign had used a phone number of its own, no one could have had any problems with any of this. Really simple.

I thought the school department and the cities budgets were separate? The survey also asks about the fire and police....why bother? He's going to do what ever wants anyway. It's funny this all comes out when the rumor mill started about individuals that may run for mayor. How is any of that relevant to the budget process?

There were other ways to handle this..... and not ADVERTISE You must be logged in to see this link. on the survey, if it was about the "current fiscal crisis" and "relevant to the current budget process"

He crossed the line making this a political advertisement and USING a crisis for his own agenda even infuriates me more.

Shame on the Board of Health and Colleen Mejia for blatantly lying again. I see now exactly what your talking about and people need to call the DEP ASAP.
