All they seem to be doing is throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks! Maybe they are providing information to the AG but I'm a bit tired of it.
We heard this stuff about Ragucci & Hanlon & nothing ever came out of it. The only real difference is now it's a well designed website that [I suppose] some people will pay more attention to than posts placed here or on Topix. But, the bottom line is there's nothing to back any of the claims up.
If they were really working with the AG, wouldn't they be required to not discuss it? Wouldn't posting stuff on a public website be considered "discussing" it? |

Citizens for Everett
MAYOR DEMARIA SUPPORTER EMAIL'S OUR WEBSITE WITH THEIR OPINION OF OUR WEBSITE.
HIS SUPPORTER NEED TO ASKED SANTA FOR SPELLING LESSONS AND A LITTLE SCHOOLING IN GRAMMAR.
Everett Citizen <everettcitizen@gmail.com> To: contactus@citizensforeverettma.com

Honesly, scum like YOU prevent the city from moving forward. YOU should be ashamed of yourself. YOU bash succesfull people in life because YOU are a jelous fool. YOU need to get a life. The Mayor is doing a great job. Look at what was left on his plate when he took office. You should think about changing the website's url to citizenforeverett not citizens.

Melissa Murphy New Chief of Staff for Mayor DeMaria.
So far the first two Chiefs of Staff left with no reason as to why they left.
We feel that they do not want to be party to any questionable activity by the Mayor so they leave their position before getting fired for not doing what the Mayor wants them to do.
The bar exam itself is not hard to pass but I can’t see why Melissa Murphy would risk her license to practice law for Carlo. Erin lied through her teeth and quit right after she got caught. She knew enough to say it’s not worth it, and she was making the big bucks.

I have contacted city services twice about the Veterans flag by the stadium and nothing happened...but at the same time, I see city service people putting up decorations and other items of non-importance.
I wrote to citizensforeverett and they put it on their website.
Good for them! Lets see how fast that gets corrected now!
Is what the leadership in Everett thinks about respecting POW's?

I saw that this information on our tax rate and it makes me sick to think that DeMaria is driving Everett into the ground. We were always the lowest tax rate and now we are the highest.

Yes we used to be the lowest but most of that ground was lost during the Ragucci administration. Were you sick back then? |

LOL.. Love that Fran! How right you are. Many on this venue forget that their king was the one who began Everett's demise. All roads lead back to those times. |

I was never a fan of David Ragucci. I always supported either McCarthy or Hanlon. You live and learn. I now wish Hanlon never beat Ragucci. Actually, I regretted my vote for Hanlon just weeks into his Administration.

Everyone has their own opinion. I watched the birth of EAC and no one can deny that the day Ragucci lost was the day the blog began. The Blame Game had all the fingers pointing everywhere else but where they belonged. I believe that the only reason this began was to bitch, moan and complain about anyone but Ragucci. Thats my personal opinion and I think if you take a look back, its pretty significantly backed up. Everyone is to blame but Ragucci if you read postings from the past. And they were going to make sure they ruined any person, place, or thing that displaced him. My comment on Fran's remark was just to share a chuckle since Fran aptly stated that founder must have been sick during Ragucci's reign as well. Just for the record, I never regretted my Hanlon vote. It was the Ragucci posters that ruined him. Actually, if you really take a look back. Once Hanlon was defeated many Ragucites left the blog. Point made. But thats okay.. we're still here enjoying our first amendment rights.

Tax increases started when Ragucci was in office & the state cut funding. It has continued its downhill spiral for many reasons which include additional state cuts.
BUT........... The biggest problem we have is that our city officials don't understand how to manage city finances. They do not have the guts to say no to anything (except pay raises for the non union employees and their number is insignificant) nor do they understand the definition of the word budget. Unless they learn that the budget is not “suggested” amounts and the city does not have unlimited resources, our taxes will continue to increase while services continue to decline.

and add to the problem a complete lack of vision. They all respond to yesterday's news, problems and issues. Never looking down the road. It's like all we have is a series of two year plans at best which is ludicrous. No forward thinking to revamp the industrial tax base that has diminished over the years. |

Tails, I've always believed Citizens for Everett is misusing information therefore misrepresenting the truth....... But that's actually beside the point. In this instance, why do you think Larry DeCoste has anything to be concerned about?
Does he, or his department, actually have the right to refuse payment for services rendered or goods received? Isn't it up to the Purchasing Agent to not allow the contract or purchase order in the first place? And wouldn't the Department Head be responsible as the person/place that originated the contract or purchase order?
If there is wrong doing (I won't agree there is based only on Citizens statements/information. They love to throw stuff out there to & hope it will stick) I don't think Larry is the one that has to worry............ |
