| Well I think it's humorous that just about everything I originally stated turned out to be factual. And what a bonus to have quotes from the Mayor, Dom D'Angelo and Rosa DiFlorio. I think Lynda should finally face the facts and maybe chat with her friend about his actions. It is inevitable that some law enforcement action will be taken. More and more things will be uncovered as this investigation ensues. The whole Bob Marcin Foundation/Everett Basketball Camp thing seems a little shady. If that's what I think imagine what other residents and tax-payers of this city must be thinking...... |

Also, I don't have anything to apologize for.
I have not said anything in this blog that I do not truly believe, and I can back up with FACTS.
Oh pardon me LYnda...I'm a product of the Everrett School system...you know the quote "Everett's Schools are Everett's Pride (that's why we build them TWICE!!!)

Good morning people,
what I think is sad and painful is to look at some of the postings on this blog. They seem so hateful and sadistic. I read the paper and from what I read, there is no police action taking place. Yes, charities should register with the city and state, but it is not law that they do. So, if someone starts a charity and doesn't realize they should register, do we as humans rip them apart.No, we shouldn't. If his reasons were sound and pure, good for him. I myself and probably alot of others out here didn't know that a charity needs to register. Am I unintelligent because of not knowing? Nope, just uninformed. The only FACTS that I have seen is Bill resigned and that the city is investigating ALLEGATIONS about him. Here on this blog, we have seen people post personal information about this man. I can't imagine what heartache he and his family are going through. If we can try to at least keep some civility, that would be nice.

first of all, I am not even female. I am not the wife as you say. If you could look at your posting, you will see that you are just ranting as usual, trying to insinuate things about me, now. This I do not take lightly. Who are you to point fingers and say anything about anyone?
I had to stop writing this post at one point because I realized that I only wanted to vent on you. That would only be lowering myself to your level. This I will not do. Really, you need to stop and think before you write things you could regret. Please don't try to goad me into a war of words. Unlike you, I have been on this blog a long time. I will tell you that Bill is a friend of mine and no matter what you say, I don't turn my back on friends because of rumors or accusations. I like to believe that I have integrity. Fancy, reread my first two sentences, you proved my point explicitly.... |

Masterful1, I think what you're seeing is the scandal-fatigue that many citizens are feeling. People may have wanted to give Bill the benefit of the doubt, but the fact is, so many scandals have occurred that many are beyond "benefit of the doubt." The general assumption is that he/she did it...and will more than likely get away with it. You can't blame the people for their frustration, because Everett has a certain reputation now. And Fancy is right - Bill is fortunate to have people like you in his life.
Personally, I hope that none of this is true. It doesn't serve the city or Bill's family well. We don't need another black eye.
In terms of the city, I hope we get more public servants and fewer self-servers, because it's the self-serving that leads to greed, which leads to corruption, which leads to scandal. The citizens of this city deserve better than what they've gotten of late.

At any rate.I've reread all the blogs.................I'm leaning with siding with Fancy....................HOPEFULLY ,the elected officials of this city will do the right thing & Billy WILL make restution, if not, well he won't be the first one who has gotten away with being paid for a city job he didn't do & helpping himself to a few "perks"
Here's a novel idea! Let's wait & see IF these officials actually take action!
That would sure be a step in the right direction, but, if they don't.................shame on them.None of us on this blog has the power to do anything except bash back & forth with each other & quite frankly..........I don't have the time or inclination to do so.

| after reading this morning paper on the rec center we find out that the chairperson is john ragucci who by the way does not even live in Everett. My question is why is this person on the Rec commission maybe that should be look into |
