| The stepping down is a Sad situation, this is a man who has a heart condition and to be accused of such unbelievable accusations is just ridiculous. Whatever Steve there is speaking of should be made clearer. This is a man who has a family and does not need this crap for his family or his health when all he did was better this city for the children. |

| Lynda...what we're hearing is that this gentleman suddenly stepped down right after Stephen Simonelli made a statement regarding missing money at the rec center. The timing is....interesting. |

I do not think we need to point fingers because we do not know the facts. I hope to god the man does not have a heart condition and if he does I hope he recovers. He has a family and young kids. As we have seen lately it is not always the obvious people who were around when monies dissapeared.

Sally this man does have a Heart Condition and has it for many years. He has been out of the working world due to this condition for many years. When presented with this job he decided to take it for the good of the children, he knew he could make a difference. And he did! Mr. Simonelli needs to share the facts and evidence with the rest of us before making accusations. I think he may be trying to cover something up. And for the record this decision to resign was well before that meeting.

| I sincerely hope the situation is as altruistic as you describe. It's interesting that you're throwing rocks at the messenger, and discredit him, which is typical Everett. What would Mr. Simonelli have to hide? |

| Lynda - you made as much of an accusation as Mr. Simonelli...so why not put forth your facts? Or is it okay for you to accuse people but not an elected official, who probably knows exactly what happened. I mean - it's all over city hall, just like it was with the girl from the Building Dept. |

| I think we need to wait for more facts to come out about this. This is a man's reputation we're talking about. There's a Board of Aldermen meeting Monday night. Let's see if anyone on the Board brings the Mayor up to ask him about it. |

I made no accusation on Mr. Simonelli or anybody else. I wouldn't do that without the facts. I am just a Mom who has enjoyed the Rec in the past year or so, something that I have not been able to do with my children in a very long time!
