The pup doesn't "grunge".

He dresses well and is judged well by everyone he meets..

He would love to be young again, just to be a rebel......

But alas, it's the same as the new dress code at city hall.....

I heard through that long grapevine again that the chairwoman of the rec commission asked for police reports I hope and pray the commission looks very carefully at this I don't want my kids this summer having nothing to do if the skate park goes. I hope the chairwoman has brains enough to have a public meeting on this.

I HAVE A COPY OF THE COMMON COUNCIL MEETING FOR MONDAY NITE AND THE SKATE PARK IS ON IT. I URGE EVERY PARENT WHO WANTS TO SAVE THE SKATE PARK TO ATTEND LET US AS PARENTS SEND A MESSAGE TO

LEO MCKINNON, STEPHANIE SMITH, JAMES KEANE, SAL DIDOMENCIO, AND BILL CARDELLO IF NOT OUR CHILDREN WILL LOSE IN THE CITY

If you cannot make it please call or email your councillors and alderman. One incident should not ruin it for all of the kids who use that park. Just because skateboarding is not as popular as football they think they can just do away with it.

WE NEED TO SAVE THE SKATE PARK MONDAY NITE 7PM CITY HALL CHAMBERS BE THERE TO HELP OUR KIDS JUST CAUSE KIDS FROM OUTSIDE THE CITY HANG THERE DON'T RUIN IT FOR OUR CHILDREN OF EVERETT.

If Michael Marchese wants the skate park torn down - John will do it. If Fred wants two guys removed from the Everett Housing Authority in order to get his kid's job back -then John will try to do it. This is what's happening folks!

Lou - my apologies if I misinterpreted but this is what you posted: "Marchese's friends" want to tear down the skate park - it's not a huge leap to assume he would want it too. I'd be surprised if they did anything without Michael's consent.

look I have kids just like most of you out here. they the directors want pepsi cola to come in and pay for a basketball court so you tell me NO PROBLEMS yeah right. that skate park was built with federal monies not the state or city monies so my question is how can the directors of the rec center demolish the skate park have pepsi cola come in and build basketball courts when there hasn't been a commission meeting on this who the hell do bowdrige and farnell think they are OH I FORGOT MARCHESE FRIENDS....My kids love the skate park this was federal money built for the community and surronding ones wake up will ya

that's true I did print that until I went back and looked at the meeting for 2004 and he wanted it to stay he voted for them not to send it to georgetown NOW, is a different story I should put the dates in

Federal funding is the tiebreaker....

That was the issue with the new high school property...remember the Park Service?

I wonder if it is the same type of application?
