Thank you for your kind words, lizbeth.....the Pup and I appreciate it.....we will see..

very interesting comments....I imagine Jordan will just suck it up until April....tough situation for him, he needs the time to retire...

Honestly...John will never catch on....

Sadly he doesn't have a clue as to what is happening in his own administration...

Some say to wait for six months.....well we do not have a choice...

Two more years of this crap? You have to be kidding!!...

It is a disgrace....very sad..

Emile and Lizbeth....

You are both very insightful. It's true, John is more or less just a figurehead. He's just the "happy face" on this mess and there are many forces at work here. It's going to be a long two years...or more, if you listen to the Hanlon forces. They figure it will take that kind of time to prep another one for the seat.

Hanlon could have a stroke within two years. The pressure of being Mayor can be overwhelming. He has already had a taste. We all saw his performance at the council meeting last week. He was beet red. And that was just over a concession stand...

Wait until the real issues come up...

God help him and the citizens of Everett...

Remember that last mayor who displayed that type of temper? Shades of John McCarthy . . . God help us, because at the end, McCarthy was a regular Captain Queeg. Keep an eye out -- if Hanlon starts rolling steel ball bearings in his hand, we're in for some stormy seas.

Captain Queeg, the movie "The Caine Mutiny"

He was suffering from dementia while in command of a Naval ship.

The crew mutinied when the Captain accused them of stealing the strawberry ice cream topping.

See lizbeth's post above.

Louie - that's not the only fee this administration wants to raise. They also want to raise the residential parking sticker to $25 bucks. It's a big secret, and they don't want to let it out too soon because people will start complaining. Pass it on...evidently, $4.4 million bucks in free cash isn't enough money for this administration to spend.

Court, The Hanlon administration will find some way of blaming Ragucci on this issue too.

Rest assured, my dear Emile. By the way, I did hear something interesting. A 77 year old guy by the name of Harper is now working two hours a day emptying the trash at city hall. He's having a tough time, as he has an even tougher time walking. It's too bad that this poor man needs to work so hard.
