So . . . Councilman Ranieri has resigned to take a position with the Hanlon administration. Did he say which position? If it's a position as one of the new code enforcement officers, one has to ask this question. How is it that Councilman Ranieri, who played a role in creating these positions by virtue of his vote in favor of approving the money to cover them, how is it that he will now be placed in one of those positions?
Sounds like a question for the Ethics Commission. Sounds like a conflict of interest.
does anyone know what ranieri job is cause this morning around 10 am i saw him on chelsea street in is personal car talking to the former mayor so I guess we are paying for someone who just rides and talks
Tony has to wait 30 days from when he resigned before he can take the job. It's highly unlikely that he's working code enforcement right now. If he is, he's defiantely in violation of state ethics.
I hate to say it fran he is down at the city yards whether you want to call it working or not he is down there I personally saw him there on friday with Mike Marchese he started on Thursday morning and they have nothing for him to do...
Louie, I don't doubt you saw him but for him to be on the payroll is a violation. When Tom Cuilla resigned to join code enforcement I believe he gave it 30 days. Call Howie Carr, he'd be very interested in this one.
so did everyone watch the meeting last nite?? Very intersting. I would say this city should be in recievership my this time next year but, hopefully I will be back as your mayor
Stop impersonating Mayor Ragucci. You are not the former Mayor and it is wrong what you are doing. You want to be on this site fine, don't impersonate people or say you are someone when you're not.
