My apologies, my dear Emile. I often sprain my ego jumping to conclusions!
A Marchant has been placed in the MIS department . . . hmmmmm . . . right in line with the "no new hire/no political patronage" policy of this administration.
I'd say it's unbelievable, but there's almost no amount of foolishness that we can put past this inept bunch. |

Wow!!19 people lurking...Makes you wonder how they all found out about this site..Massdee, loved the quill and parchment joke..LOL
Do you think we might have to post a crossing guard up at Pity Hall for all the seniors with walkers. Don't want to have any accidents or rear endings (tongue in cheek) Hee Hee |

Could someone remind me how long Walking Eagle has been in charge? I really don't remember THIS much DRAMA occurring so quick after any other elections. Well, I am thinking that to accomplish this much, after being in office so little, has to break some kind of record. |

I say we pluck the Eagle, like it was Thanksgiving and give the pup the bones to chew on..Then again, I love the pup too much to give him indigestion. |

The Pup may like to nosh a wing or two, thank you, Oh Masterful One.
Walking Eagle will be with us until the elections, I'm afraid.

In your role as a cleric, Emile, perhaps you could put in a good word for us that we don't have him longer than that . . . |

Good evening, all. I see we've had some fun and games tonight; I wish I could have logged on earlier. May I only add that Walking Eagle would have to go back beyond parchment and quill. Think "granite" and "chisel." In fact, I heard he was replacing the entire MIS department with granite and chisel. At least it will be easy for Walking Eagle to find his files....he'll be able to stub his toe with them. No more pesky hard drives and the like.... |

Humm... 12 people in here right now but, just myself and Citizen Kane seem to be the only ones that are not shy. Hi Citizen Kane how are you on this fine day? |

I am now signed on here 24/7 it appears. I guess if you do not sign out you never have to sign in again, weird.

Good morning, Lynda. I'm well, thank you -- how are things with you?
Sally . . . good morning to you as well. I stay logged in quite often, also; it seems even when I shut down the computer entirely, when I boot back up, I'm still signed in!
It seems that there are a lot of curious on-lookers in here during the day. Our tax dollars hard at work, do you think? |

Our tax dollars hard at work, do you think? Absolutely Citzen. I too am well with the grace of God. I too noticed that I am logged on every time I sign on. Maybe someone at Pity Hall was able to rig the system so that it appears that there are more members on than the lurkers. |

This site has been that way from the beginning.
I never log out, therefore, I am always logged on.
Nothing nefarious, just the mechanics of the software.
