Modern Continental sold the parcel of land abutting the location of the Waste Treatment Plant to the owner of the Woodchip Plant that is polluting the neighborhood in Everett that we have been reading about for months in the Everett papers. He has been fined over the years but never shut down. How could Everett permit to sell this guy that land or any further real estate when he is already in violation of polluting the city air with no regard for the people or environment? Home owners, taxpayers, and citizens need to hold Everett government to task of building and business expansion in regards to air, ground, and water environmental management. It is so ironic with this issue of the Waste Treatment Plant, because when you look at our neighborhoods and the landscapes of trash and pollution already in existence in Everett, is it any wonder the BWSC chose Everett for their sight, bypassing all laws? Why would they think Everett govt. or public even care? I want to know why Everett City Hall even cares about that Waste Treatment Plant when for years citizens have grievanced about the condition of our water, streets, and air with no result and no answers?

Magda, you should get involved in the city's conservation commission. They need people with the passion about the environment that you have. |

William Thibeault from Wood Waste has bought property near the proposed waste treatment plant?
Is that what you are saying?
You've got to be kidding me...
He is nothing but trouble. He obviously has a nefarious plan to make money at Everett's expense. That's all he ever did down on Boston Street, screw the City.
Bye the way, what is the status of the sale of the City Yards?
No administration has had the, ahem, fortitude to put a stop to this arrogant madman.
DEP tried and they can't even do it.
