I think it was Gorin's where the Bon Saison was.
Even though it hasn't been gone that long . . . Brigham's in the Square.
Criscilla's was once Papa Gino's.
The Alamo was once a true neighborhood drug store where the druggist new every family by name; you could just go in, tell him what the problem was, and he'd find something to fix it.
WT Grant was where the Family Dollar Store is now in Glendale Square.
There was also a clothing store in Everett Square where that Family Dollar Store is.

Where the Family Dollar in the square is, was where the original Gorins was. Then it moved down on School Street.

The clothing store I was trying to think of was Salengers.
Remember when Almys closed and the Sears Outlet open for a short while. |

The A&p was on Broadway across from the Prlin Jr. High. The original building is still there. It's where the doctors offices are.
Brown Bakery, corner of Mansfield and Broadway. |

Brown's Bakery. I remember the black & white cookies there, though for some reason I thought we called them half moons.
There was also a little candy store on the corner of Walnut and Morris Street, where the little Italian market is now.
The record store on Norwood Street was great . . . they could find you the most obscure recordings, and had all kinds of sheet music.
Star Market became Osco Drug, which became Brooks.
