There is something big going on at the new high school. They have evacuated at least part of the projects, the new high school, and all of Glendale park. Elm Street is closed. The state police helicopters and the new copters are all circling above my house. They are looking for a man with a gun and are goign to search inside the high school with the state police k-9's I cannot wait to hear what happened.

Armed Man Flees To HS After Robbing Everett Home
(WBZ) EVERETT An armed robber gained entrance into a house in Everett and robbed it on Friday, according to police. The house is located near the new Everett High School under constrcution on Gledhill Avenue, where the robber fled to after the incident.
Police said the alleged robber knocked on a homeowner's door Friday afternoon. After the occupant answered, the alleged robber showed the occupant a gun and reportedly told the occupant to take him to a safe.
The alleged robber reportedly left the scene with an undisclosed amount of stolen items.
Police said that after the alleged robber held up the homeowner, he fled into the new high school construction area where construction workers were on scene.
No injuries were reported and no students were in the area.
Police checked all the construction workers one by one as they left the scene.
A search is ongoing for the alleged robber, according to police.

Yeah, it was just on Channel 4. They haven't found him. He's probably long gone by now. Chief Mazzie was on and said that the guy had specifically asked about the safe and tied up the occupant of the apartment with wire ties, and made off with cash and jewelry.

Hmmmm . . . scary. Just goes to show you, you can't let anyone in your house, even if they do look "safe." With so many ways to produce fake ID's, you can't even trust those. I guess the rule has to be, if you haven't called the company for service, don't let them in the house.
