Where do we find out what Eagle with walker's travel expenses are and how they're budgeted? I understand he's in Las Vegas (again) and it seems to me he's been somewhere other than Everett an awful lot. I'd really like to know how many of our tax dollars he's spent for travel since he took office.

It's all public record . . . you'd have to submit a public records request for a copy of the budget, and then probably through either the auditor's or the treasurer's office for a breakdown of what the traveling expenses have been year to date. You could just ask for a breakout of expenditures YTD for the Mayor's Office as well as what the budget is for the fiscal year.

I know that when you request a copy of anything from pitiful hall, get it time stamped and dated. They have only ten days in which to comply. I like the looks on their faces when you ask for that.

Oh yeah . . . and I'm guessing they've been getting quite a few requests these days . . .

They already raised the fees for that -- it's 50 cents per page now . . .

Nah, he might break a nail pushing the button. They will have to make a new hire. Maybe a Son, Daughter, Niece, Nephew, Grandchild, Friend of a Friend, etc...

State law (and the Pup does not remember the section) limits the amount charged for copies to be .20 per page.

Hmmmm . . . that's interesting, Emile. I'll have to try to find the chapter, because I'm pretty sure even before they raised the fee, it was .25 per page.

Emile, The Pup made a mistake on this one.
CHAPTER 66. PUBLIC RECORDS
Furnishing any public record, in hand, to a person requesting such records, fifty cents per page. A page shall be defined as one side of an eight and one-half inch by eleven inch sheet of paper.

Lynda, is that chapter 66 from the city or the state? I believe Emile was talking about the state laws.
