Dude, it was a joke..To quote you from one of your prior posts "relax". I have known Court for a long while now and is a very nice person. We all need to take a chill pill and realize that some posts are not as they seem. Just like when you email someone, it is hard to judge tone and inflection. People might need to realize that when you "capitalize", it means you are yelling..I bet a lot of people didn't know that.. |

Did anyone see the BOA meeting tonight? I think Mr. Sheehan was asked by Alderman Marcus to appear. |

Masterful One, forget the Geritol, little turtle soup with a dash of catnip is just what Dr. Pup prescribes or you.
And we will not stand for anyone casting expursions on our dear friend Court.

Mr. Sheehan couldn't appear because he was attending a funeral for a relative of a department head.
Good excuse for skipping the meeting?
You betcha!
Sheehan was quite relieved that he had an excuse for not attending the meeting.
That may sound harsh, but unfortunately, every we said is true!

Wonder what his reasoning will be two weeks from now . . . keep in mind, it was Marcus who requested that Sheehan appear last night; Sheehan replaced Marcus' "brother-in-law" Al Borgonzi as head of City Services; Marcus has a personal axe to grind and isn't going to let it go that easily. |

Marcus will do what he's told to do. Not a big think tank, that one. |

TwinPeaks, I agree with you about Jason not being a big think tank but I think CK is also right. Jason isn't going to let it go, if he feels something or someone is wronged he will go after it no mater who tells him not to. I'm not a Marcus fan, it's just what I have observed after watching these meetings for years. |

massdee - you're absolutely right about Jason to a degree. In order for Jason to stick his neck out, however, it has to be tied to a) personal family or friends or 2) votes. |

Emile my dear friend, just how is that pup? Give him a pat on the head and a high five for me please. I am starting to acquire a taste for turtle soup lately, must remember to add the catnip.LOL Sheehan will probably say that he was only looking to save the city some money. Of course, Eagle with walker will be looking to spend it..LOL |

Walking Eagle (the bird so full of sh** that he can no longer fly) has city government now paying for the bleachers again. |

Are we renting bleachers again? With the number of times we've rented these things, we could've bought them outright about 5 times. |
