| No, Lynda, it didn't have anything to do with children, except in disappointing his own. All I know is that there were marital troubles; the extent of these troubles are really unknown to anyone who didn't live them. |

| nope it's on the city web site maybe they have the wrong date, I don't remember seeing this on T.V. |

I think that meeting was postponed to next Monday on the Riverfront project.
Speaking of meetings . . . the Administrative Affairs Committee, which is where they referred the pay for the School Committee, is meeting on 3/21 at 6:00 PM.

Well his grown children. He was havcing an affair with his daughters best friend. It was in the papers when it happened. He has not been at Lighthouse for a long time.

Citizen, If I was a public person who got onto a pulpit and preached to people about how they should live morally, and I was screwing my kids friends, then I would expect to be judged.

And he was, Sally . . . by his family and by the people in his church . . . and as you say, he's not been with the Lighthouse for a long time. And the details of whatever went on were not printed in the paper. He has faced the wrath of the people who were most directly affected by his alleged behavior -- and again, I say alleged, because only the people involved know the full story.
We're all fallible. We all make mistakes. I don't know about you, Sally, but I haven't lived a perfect life. Reverand Coots provided counsel to a lot of people in his role; he showed many people compassion; I'm just saying it wouldn't be out of line to have some for him, and for his family. |

I have no compassion for alduterers, or people who intentionally ruin their childrens lives.

| I sure hope Rev. Coots family is not reading these posts. I think it would be painful for them to have this issue brought back into the public light. I personally didn't know anything about any of this until today. |

Well maybe he should not be involved in city functions where his picture is published in the paper. He does not even live in this city.

The meetings that were scheduled were postponed. I don't know why they were just listed on channel 16 as postponed. |
