| I find the timing very interesting. I also find it interesting that the mayor is away without releasing what was found in the audit. When is he due back? I hope the Common Council put the audit on their agenda for next Monday night. |

| Oh, I would hope Lori Bruno would have it right on there. She's been pretty diligent in following up with the administration on the progress of the audit . . . it should be interesting . . . was it our friend Bobby who said -- I'm getting out the popcorn and hunkering down for the show . . . |

| Did anyone happen to see the piece on ECTV about the rec center that leo McKinnon did. I happened to catch it yesterday and couldn't believe the strives they have accomplished to turn that place around and back into shape. I had no idea the number of activities that go on down there and the hours of operation that are maintain. The girls from chearing should really take advantage of the facility, as they commented about. alot has changed from the days when I played bball in the girls league (ages ago). This new director and the current Recreation Committee are working hard, and seem to have it headed in the right direction. Something that was lacking up to this point. Hopefully, it continues. politics shouldn't have a place in this area. It's about the kids and the community. |

| CK you can always count on the Ladies on Council to get to the bottom of things. I love watching Ms Bruno and the other lady, I forget her name, i think it may be Rosa. They keep going until they get answers, as they should. ANd I must admit I was very impressed with Ms Sarnie at the last meeting not letting the issue about the night ticketing code enforcment go without giving it her all to get answers. she really didn't get any answers but she gave it a very good try. |

The cheerleaders do not use it for pratices because they do not have mats at the rec.

| I agree with you, Bobby. The females on the Council seem to ask the tougher questions and really try to get the information out to the public. |

Lynda so happy to hear that you are staying clear of the post by weshared2004. i would tell weshared2004 that that post belongs in the recreation center section and not the politics/city hall section but i wouldn't want to be accused of trying to be a moderator or something nasty like that.

I also agree, Bobby, that the women on the Council seem more willing to press an issue to get an answer . . . I thought it was great when Cynthia Sarnie was trying to get answers out of Henderson that he clearly didn't want to give, and I thought he let his frustration get the better of him while she remained quite calm.
The bottom line is . . . the taxpayers deserve answers from the administration, and Councillors Bruno, DiFlorio and Sarnie were doing exactly what we elected them to do. |

You would be right Bobby and Thank you.
I agree as well that the women try and try and try to get some sort of answer to the questions presented. I was very impressed with Cynthia the way she handled herself and kept on digging for some sort of answer, which she never got, but, she gave it all she had without losing her cool at all.
