My understanding is that Joe knows about and has a copy of the letter. Massdee, you might want to double check that with him.

I will give him a call and see if he knows anything. The last time I spoke to him he did not mention it to me.

A wedding at 9am? You sure it wasn't a funeral?

It's "diversify", JB.

And the elderly vote. Of course he's going to want their support.

And the reason is that the elderly show up and vote - particularly in primaries. The elders among us also have a well-honed BS meter, which may put John at further risk.

Anyone read the Leader Herald this morning? Two weeks in a row of decent reporting on city government meetings. Just stating the facts and not adding their own opinion. Good job, J. Curnane. Did you happen to catch McGonagle's open letter?

Nice try, Keanu. You must be real busy at city hall today . . . our tax dollars hard at work again. You posted this same nonsense over on the Mirror, and again, no one's buying it there, and no one's buying it here.

Seriously, can't you Hanlon people come up with something better than trying to smear people's reputations. Maybe you should focus more on actually staying within your set budget -- if you expended as much energy on running the city properly as you do trying to tear down everyone who doesn't agree with you or dares to challenge the Mayor's foolishness, this city would run like a well oiled machine.

Thank you CK for the spelling correction.I'm not saying the elderly isnt important it is very much so, I'm just saying I hope its not his only target. As with Wayne the WINO, who pretty much targets them specificly along with there weekness's as well (in my opinion), thats all. I'm hoping Joe is smarter than that, which I think he is.

And what was the arrest in Somerville for?

The following was posted on that other blog this morning:
I urge everyone to call the Somerville Police, this story this person is putting out is absolutely not true. I called them and I called the Alderman. Do people really think you can just put something out here and no one is going to follow up. Get a grip. Since the Hanlon people cannot go after McGonagle on the issues, they are now making up stories to smear his name. You should be ashamed of yourself. You people are doing exactly what Alderman Van Campen said the other night, "bringing politics in Everett to an all time low." Shame on you!
