They don't want to print anything about the IG letter because they are afraid of losing their advertising dollars. It doesn't matter that it's news and the peopel of Everett have a right to be informed. I just hope city government will do something. |

There was nothing of the stabbing by the MS13 gang, or the near fatal motorcycle accident in front of Glendale Park. We get no real news in this city and that is why some of the city officials have been able to sweep things under the rug until these boards appeared. I do not think we realize how important we are in getting the real news out there.

I was told this IG letter was at FFF's court hearings, but the public only got the air conditioner stories. |

That is impossible, the IG's letter was dated December 4,2006. FFF's court hearings, I believe, end October, 2006. Also, the courts findings on the air caondtioners are mentioned in the letter. So, it absolutely came out after FFF was sentenced to probation and had to pay the court fees. In my opinion, just a slap on the hand. |

So if your correct on the dates than Double Jeopardy wouldn't apply. |

No, there's no double jeopardy involved, but in terms of criminal charges, the statue of limitations may have run out on a few of the things mentioned in the letter.

I noticed that! I'll be interested to hear what our newest "citizen" has to say!
Glad to have you back on the boards, Lynda. |

Citizen, if the statue of limitations has run out can the School Committee still fire him on these allegations? Not that they would, just curious. |

I can't see why they wouldn't be able to fire him -- there may be contractual issues that would have to be worked out, but as you say . . . it's not likely that they will. |

I wonder if there is a morality type clause in his contract. That would give them grounds to let him go. |

Is everyone that afraid of him? Can anyone put the letter in the paper themselves? |
