Lynda, when did you send it? Would it have reached them in time to publish it?

The local papers will not write anything bad about him. He gives them thousands of dollars in advertising. He would cut them off if they looked at him the wrong way, let alone write something. He even sends them what he wants written. Take a look at the Independent there is stuff in there written by his PR guy. He controls the School Committee, the Mayor, some of the Councilmen and Aldermen and all 3 newspapers. This corrupt midget will be harder to bring down than the other one because not enough people know the truth about him yet.

Maybe if just one of the local elected officials brings the IG letter out in the open it will encourage some new blood to run for school comittee. Even if the present bunch refuses to take any sensible action the pressure will build. Paying them and putting them into the pension system may expand the pool of candidates willing to spend the time and money it takes to win an election. All it takes is a couple of bricks to be pulled out and the whole wall may come tumbling down.

There are nine members on the School Committee, we need at the least 5 new members to do any good. If an Elected Official would just do what is the right thing with the IG letter, I think FFF will no longer be Supt. He has escaped culpability far too often. Who knows what else he has done that will never be uncovered. He is also a crude and fouled mouth person. If you have ever been the object of one of his tantrums, you would know what I mean.

Myself along with a group of other parents pissed him off royally back in the early 90's. He gave us the name, "Rat Packing Bitches from the Devens School." We wore that banner proudly. We were very glad to know that we got to him. I hope he goes down this time.

Ellen I had the same experience with him because I fought for my son. He even brought the crew from Vine Street down and had me pointed out in the schoolyard after school. He thinks he is a mob boss LOL

I just watched the tape of the last School Committee meeting. Mr Juliano wanted to go into Executive Session to discuss a communication that was received. I don't know what the rules are for going into Exec Session but they certainly had a lot of reasons why they could not go in.

One other thing I found interesting was that the Committee that is doing the evaluation on FFF has asked for more time. It probably doesn't mean anything, though.

Sally, maybe, I'm not 100% sure, the next Alderman's meeting might have the IG letter. We'll have to check the agenda when it's published on Friday. I have been told it will be addressed, I am guessing next week.

I've been hearing rumblings that something was going to be done with the letter soon, but . . . I guess we'll see. It certainly is going to cause some kind of stir when it finally does become "public" beyond what has been said on the blogs.

I think the fact that this issue has been on the blogs for weeks, without a single mention in the newspapers, speaks to the dysfunctional nature of our local press.
