Anne Marie is known for her volcanic temper. She ran through staff like a marathoner.
Having Don Andrews in as a consultant AFTER Mr. Hanlon said there would be no more consultants? Are we okay with this? This is the same guy that let Freddy have free reign for years!!! He tacked Freddy's overspending onto the tax levy without telling the mayor or the city council.
Bravo to Joanne for her professionalism. I wish her well. |

| Unless Julie has an appointment with a specific end date, she can be made to go. Otherwise, Hanlon's got a court fight. The word on the street is that he'll pay settlements, given all the free cash he has. There's your taxbreak, put to good use! |

ATTENTION WICKED PISSED FROM THE ALDERMAN
I wish the wicked pissed lady/ something if you can, I hope she never has a major loss in her life and a nervous break down. . He was not naked he had pants on plus he never got arrested. John would be happy to talk to her at any time. Let her know it was never kept as a secret and when she puts in all that time she too can speak with out hiding as a coward.
John has help lots of people due to that issue, he saved plenty of lives when he speaks of the awful time. John has put his time and money to help people in with issue, he works with Portal of hope and he left because its people like you who do not have guts to put a name or face to your comments. I am not a coward "Lisa" and have never hidden who I am [unlike many here who choose anonymity]. What went down was and is common knowledge for many years now. Lighten up, everyone suffers loss and lots of people make excuses for their bad behavior = the 2 are not mutually exclusive. I believe that is a truer sign of cowardice. of course I am a diabetic that cannot leave my house much since I lost half of a foot, and can still look at myself in the mirror and hold myself to a higher standard then I hold those who would claim to represent me. Wanna go one-on-one about loss? Why isn’t the brave Johnnie speaking for himself right now? If you were really interested in reaching me, you would have sent an email to me through the sight. Grandstand much?

Caren, I have to say Lori makes a valid point. That what happened with John is common knowledge isn't really relevant . . . it happened ten years ago during a difficult time in his life. And she's right when she says he wasn't arrested, nor was he running naked in the streets.
We all do things that we're not necessarily proud of . . . it's too bad that ten years after the fact, some people still can't let it go. Does the fact that you're a diabetic and can't leave your house much excuse you for poking fun at what was a painful period in another person's life. John has never tried to excuse his behavior on that particular evening . . . it's just too bad that there are people around like you who feel the need to remind him of it. You think it's appropriate to poke fun at other people's personal misfortunes and errors in judgement? It must be nice to live a perfect life.

Well, it is not exactly commom knowledge since I had never heard of it before and I have known him for 12 years at least. I have much respect for John Ragucci and the way he handles himself and cares for his kids. This little useless, cruel, disgusting tidbit has not changed my opinion of him. He is held in high regard by the majority of people in this city. He has done so much to help the people of this community. So when he decides to step down as alderman he gets attacked with old stories of a bad time in his life. It is sad really sad what some people turn into.

2) If there was something incorrect about the comment, I apologize. But the post from court, following mine indicates that many people had heard the same incorrect information. That in no way excuses my repeating it incorrectly.
3) Take the posting in context. It was summary of the meeting with comments. Personally, I have no use for John, he has been pathetic as an alderman, and that is an opinion I will not apologize for.
Many people have had stories about them repeated on this site. (I for one have been part of and have seen first hand the remarks made about Fred [all true as far as I knew]) Could someone publish a list of whom it is o.k. to speak about here? Perhaps the public personalities the mob feels better talking about?
I will post more cautiously given this new found sensitivity.

| Caren, the comments posted out here about Fred have been in the context of his position as the Superintendent. You're entitled to your opinion about John in his capacity as a public servant. Your attack on John was personal. |

Personally I thought John was a great Alderman. I agree that the attack on him was personal and uncalled for.I know dirty little secrets about many ofour public officials. I do not post them here as much as I would like to see the downfall of a few. Fred has been indicted. That is as good as guilty to me since they had to have evidence to indict him. I still do not post things I know about him here. Just common courtesy. John Ragucci is one of the most stand up guys I have ever met. He spends more hours with the youth of this city than he does with his own kids. I have never until now, ever heard a bad word spoken about him. I myself contacted him and every other member of city Government about being trapped at the Gateway Mall during the Brazillian Festival. He got back to me right away (not days later like some)and brought it up at the next meeting. I have contacted him over the years several times and he always did his best to help out with any situation I may have had. I think you are in the minority if you do not like John. Personally I do not know another public figure in this city that is liked more than John Ragucci.

A new health director has been appointed by Mr. Hanlon.
Apparently a cousin to Mr. Hanlon by marriage.
Another exhaustive nationwide search which resulted in a relative?
Isn't that why the McCarthy people vilified(sic) David Ragucci when he hired family members?
Seems like Mr. Hanlon is already doing the same thing.......
