A question was asked, and answered. If you don't like it, that's your problem.
Jealousy doesn't have anything to do with the fact that the house he built is too big for the location! |

Frenchfries....the district was gerrymandered to suit Mr. Birmingham's agenda. An entire chunk of the most liberal, and rich section of Cambridge was added to the district. And yes, Galluccio did technically live outside the district after it was "redistricted", but his mother lived in the district and he would have exchanged residences with her. Did he lie about his intentions? I don't think so.
As for Mr. Barrios....he may have owned a home in the district, but I don't think we were well-served. The only one he really served was himself. |

I agree that we were not well served by Barrios. I believe he had his own agenda which had nothing to do with representing the people of Everett. We all know what that agenda was. When I say he was a one trick pony, that's what I mean, that he was there to make a point about his issue and that was all he was interested in.
The senate district may have been gerrymandered but it never included the part of Cambridge where Galluccio lived when he ran. If you find somewhere that a previous district line ever included the Cambridge Belmont line where he was living, please inform me so I can be educated. I don't know how anyone would know he was going to switch residences with his mother. If that was his intention, why didn't he do it before he ran. You either are in the district or not. Close doesn't count, used to live there doesn't count. In or out. Yes or no. Truth or lie. Former Mayor Ragucci lives close to the Medford line. What would you say if he ran for Mayor of Medford? |
