Like I said earlier, Carlo promised Vetrano, Ravanesi, Pedulla, Sheehan, Garniss (who stole thousands from the city) and Ranieri jobs in exchange for Hanlon's support. The meeting at city hall has already taken place. Ask around - it's no secret.
The same people that got the city in this mess will be Carlo's key advisors too.
The fact is, there's no difference between Carlo and Hanlon - they are one of the same.
God help our city.

shame....when are you, Aesop and the Brothers Grimm heading back to fantasyland? I look at that list of people you call key advisors and you are 0 for 6.
You are starting to sound more like a disgruntled ex employee rather than a concerned citizen. 48 posts and not one of them with a positive thought....you may want to lay off the paint chip diet. |

You seem to be the one that needs help from God! What the heck are you talking about? Do you have any clue to any of what you are saying? Hello lights on but no one is home in there.

I heard also that Carlo has chosen his "team" of Vatrano, Padulla, Sheehan, etc. It's known that they have been speaking with him. Someone in his campaign said that. Thats great news to the people who want Everett to stay in the same direction it has been going in. |

The only nerve you hit was the one that controls my ability to tolerate people like yourself. I wouldn't mind reading your comments if you would at the very least make a comment about something you heard first hand. I wouldn't even mind reading your comments if you had some positive to say about the candidate you are supporting. Here we are 49 posts later and the best thing you can say about your guy is that.......oh wait, you haven't said anything about your candidate. I would think that if you really felt your guy was right for the job, you could find something positive to say about his candidacy. |

Did anyone see the new campaign videos on ECTV tonight? Joe asked Carlo for a series of debates. |

Welcome to the board, Dom. Although you only have five posts under your belt, you have provided a fairly positive influence for your candidate. Both candidates have a myriad of supporters and when the debate gets heated and the election get's close, it's way too easy to resort to name calling. I think you'll find that problem on both sides of the aisle though; no one's got a lock on the high road. |

Actually Massdee, Carlo responded to last week's Independent's request to debate with Joe immediately when he read the paper and it was days until Joe even responded to the Independent, so I am sure Carlo is more than willing and ready. |

Just to comment on all these previous posts, I think it is such BS, " who Carlo will be hiring, and making deals with," I can't believe what I am reading, I can't believe that you people still go on and on like this, absolutely ridiculous. It's actually becoming quite comical, you are making fools of yourselves. |

AVGMOM, I was only commenting on the video, I was not saying anything for or against either candidate. Since you brought it up, Joe's video was completed long before the Independent asked for a debate. I have known about that part of Joe's video before the Independent came out last Wednesday. Actually, my first thought when I read it in the Independent was that they must of caught wind of what was in Joe's new video. |

Not only did the Independent get wind that Joe wants to debate Carlo, they intentionally selected a date when Joe is having a businessman's dinner. I haven't heard Carlo come up with any alternate dates to debate Joe. What reason do you think Carlo will give for voting "YES" to every budget increase over the past two years? This should be very interesting. |

Someone should also point out to the editor of the Independent that you cannot hold a campaign debate in the City Council Chambers. You cannot "campaign" in a public building, and while some may feel that elected officials are constantly campaigning from the chamber floor, a debate of this kind held in the Council Chamber would be a no no.
But the editor of the Independent has never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

shame, you are all over the place. One day you are in the Mayor's office while the mayor is exchanging votes for jobs. The next day you are behind closed doors at the Independent when they are picking dates for a debate. Anything else you have first hand knowledge of...who killed Kennedy? was Schillings bloody sock fake or real? |

Whatashame, actually Carlo hasn't given an alternate date because Joe has yet to RSVP to the Independent's invite, so the ball is in his court. |
