RE: #18 and #19......Sober houses and drug rehab centers are not restricted by local zoning. They can not even be inspected by local authorities due to the federal funding they receive. Code Enforcement should have that information.

Simonelli was aware of the need to repair the barrier. He had already been working on it without putting it on the calendar by working directly with the responsible dept. This is hte way things should be done unlike Watne using the calendar and the metting to promote his at=large campaign. |

okay, heres one for you. A house that is a two family wanted to be made into a legal three, without the legal parking, was asked to put up a Hanlon sign. They did, Hanlon lost the primary, guess what sign is out there now. Yup, it's DeMaria. This house has a history of illegal immigrants. Nice, hguh |

I don't understand what you are getting at with the last posts. Are you insinuating that they want Carlo in so that they can have a illegal three family? Can't anyone put a sign on their front lawn? Maybe the Joe people knew that people would badmouth Carlo if they did it so they did. Come on you can't hold people accountable for what other people do on their own property. Really trying to figure this one out. If the house is full of "illegals" why aren't you contacting the INS instead of this blog?. |

I have a sign on my front lawn and it is because I support my candidate. I don't want anything and I am not looking for a job. I think that is why most people have lawn signs, not all, but most. I think the house in question probably supported Hanlon and just turned their support to Carlo, plain and simple. I also don't think it's a ploy by the McGonagle camp, and to insinuate such is not fair. There is enough crap being said about both candidates, I wish people would just post what is a proven fact. These innuendos, against both candidates are getting ridiculous. Come on folks, we all want the same thing, a better Everett. |
