I have yet to see the meeting. Can anyone tell me how the vote went on this item?

Passed by a fairly close margin; can't remember the vote exactly. Reconsideration failed. Keane made a fairly scathing speech in favor of it before the vote; no other speakers before the vote. Between the vote and reconsideration, Matewsky made a typical Wayne speech for the con opinion; Hickey spoke for the pro opinion. No other speakers were allowed.

Thank you, I actually caught it last night. It passed 10-6 and reconsideration failed at 13-3. Yes Wayne was being Wayne with some lame excuse whay he ran for two offices last election. Something about someone was supposed to back out at the last minute. He is such a Dinosaur and it amazes me how he gets the number of votes he does.

In order to make the Common Council meetings a little more interesting to myself, I like to play a game trying to guess who will win the "I Like to Hear Myself Talk" award. Wayne usually wins but he has some tough competion!

And who is going to take Wayne's place when he moves on?. If they get re-elected, Ward 2 will be well represented by Lou ("If we don't fix this right now, it'll be the end of the world") Sierra and Steve ("?") Simonelli. But if he can stay healthy, my money's on Leo McKinnon!

Just having a little fun everybody....I think we could use it this week.
