You know, for months now posters have been posting garbage about Carlo on this site and no one said a thing, but the minute something gets said about Joe, deleting posts comes up for discussion, is that fair ?? I guess life isn't fair sometimes, but alot of you are quite biased on this board and it's not right. |

Massdee,
If you know something about this and don't think Joe will be bothered if you share it with us, you should do so or ask Joe if you can do so; it needs to get cleared up to the masses (if you can call us that) as soon as possible. A bank isn't likely to come foward on its own to support Joe in this situation. Everybody knows that you are a reliable source for McGonagle information. Joe doesn't need to get a bunch of phone call on the same subject; however, those who choose not to believe you will have to go to him to hear it from the source.

Avgmom, it's not right that, as you claim, "alotof you are quite biased"? What is it that you're referring to that's not right. Because if the wrong is in being biased, then you're in the wrong as well.
There's nothing wrong with being biased or supporting one candidate over another. The point we are continuing to try to make is that character assassination does neither side any good.
Having said that, the tax issue is a legitimate one, and I'd like to echo Tetris' request, Massdee; if you can shed any light on it, please do.
As for the rest of it, let's leave it where it belongs -- in the gutter.

As for the tax issue, I don't feel it's my place to post about it. It is up to Joe to clear it up. I will certainly pass everyone's concern to him and let him handle it, or if he gives me permission I will try to explain it. Either way, there will be some who will never believe him or me.
AVGMOM, when I asked about deleting the entire topic, not just certain posts, whether you believe it or not, it was because people were bringing up that crap about Carlo and his employees. I don't think that kind of crap needs to be discussed on these boards. |

Okay, your taking my words out of context, we our all entitled to support whom ever we want - I absolutely respect that, when I said I felt people were being biased I said it because the topic of deleting posts only came up when something negative came up about Joe, I know Massdee you planned on deleting all of the posts, but why did it have to get to this point ??? Forget it, just kill the issue, it really is irrelevant anyway. |

I just found 21-23 Everett St with no problem. Don't forget he is Joseph W McGonagle JR. I was unable to find the other stuff you are talking about. |

Joe has always lived in Everett. Joe's father, Joseph W. McGonagle SR, lived in Winthrop. Joe's father was also part owner of Mystic Products. It was a family owned business. Joe SR was living in Winthrop when he passed away. |

Although it wasn't easy to find, here is the address:
You must be logged in to see this link.
Found it through the address (16 Mystic Street) on cambridgedeeds.com. Notice that there is no Jr. anywhere in the document. I'm not a hand-writing expert but the signature doesn't appear to match the mayoral candidate's (which you can find on any number of documents at cambridgedeeds.com). Due to the difference in the slant, it appears that Joe may be right-handed and his dad may have been left-handed. |

You haven't made your case, Taylor. When you provide the link and are able to provide evidence to support what you say, people will take you seriously.

Wow...This is wrong on so many levels. This is one time that I wish that I was at loss for words...but because I'm not sure that I can properly restrain myself, I'm going to try to sit this one out. |

You raise a very valid point, justme. This is getting infantile, isn't it? I wish the forum creator would install an "ignore" button for chronic offenders of decency. |

Okay, Court and Citizen, which one of you two is on the CC? LOL.
Joe lives in Everett, has always lived in Everett. Joe's dad lived in Winthrop. Joe's dad is deceased, has been since 1999, he does not live in a fancy condo on the Jamaica Way. Joe does not drive a white caddy. Joe's pick up is almost always parked in the lot behind his business in the evenings.
I wish people would stop this foolishness. It doesn't do anyone any good. I tried to not reply, but bringing Joe's dad into all this and lying about him, is truly disgusting. |

MassDee - ignore that; it must be the wind whistling through the trees today. Taylor's knowledge about anything is very suspect; she has show herself to be motivated by spite and jealousy, and doesn't seem to let truth get in the way of a good story. It must be the stress of her looming unemployment, along with a resume that looks like swiss cheese. |

Thanks for the info. Of course the assessment is a tad higher conveniently. It is my hope that who ever gets elected will care about the average person and the taxpayers of the city because it’s us that are paying for services all around and we need them, we are not getting them. All you hear is there isn’t any money for it. I don’t believe in all these assistants either. If they can not handle it then they should never have accepted it in the first place. If someone can not do their job they should be let go, union or not. It’s another burden on the taxpayer.
