I am not Joe Lynda just someone who is on the inside and his reporting to all of you... A clean slate that is all I ask for the salaries have to be cut, the people have to be let go or if carlo wants to keep them lower their pays but again I will say it "A New Beginning" means letting the old go and hiring people who are qualified for the jobs... |

First of all, Keverian is 80 years old.
Why don’t you ask people who had to work with him what it was like! The budget director follwed the rules and didnt use her position for political purposes.
It was mutual anyway.
He knew what he did was wrong as a city employee. He was another one who stabbed in the back and turned the knife! Mr. Hanlon was good to him and kept him out of respect. Another downfall for the good guys.
Keverian, along with Joe, were so complacent and thought he would make it for sure. As the old saying goes, you shouldn’t count your chicks before they hatch.

So, let me get this straight; you were angry because people called John Hanlon "too old" for the job...and now you're saying that George is 80 years old? Are you kidding?
BTW - it is noticed that you always seem to speak for the budget director. You must be "very close." If the budget director "followed the rules" - Hanlon would still be in office. I believe he lost entirely due to her mismanagment of the budget process.

I disagree about the budget director
If she knew how to do her job the city would not have been facing prop 2 1/2. I heard she was always tring to get other people to do her job.
She was to busy putting her nose in everyone else's business.
I wish John had seen this and then maybe he would still be Mayor! |

Taylor, you almost had me, but the comments about the budget director following the rules and not using her position for political purposes . . . that's a joke, right?
I do agree with you, though, that the McGonagle camp figured they had a lock on the race after the primary victory. Big mistake.

More on the transition team for Carlo.....
Greg Antonellis......If anyone knows where the bodies are buried (figuratively, of course) it's him and his brother. He will be a great help to Carlo. My guess is that GTA will be much more visible in Everett with city contracts.
More later, but right now it's...........time to make the donuts!

Well, Wanda Bee - if Carlo keeps Janice as budget director, it will have to be a "two-fer," because he will need someone to do her job for her. My understanding is that it was Bev Dorman who kept the office running. Even after they threw Dorman under the bus during that faux audit, they had to bring her back.....because Janice couldn't get the budget done on her own. |

I feel if Ms Vetrano was qualified and knew how to do her job, it would not have mattered who she replaced. There are some Hanlon appointees that the city council has embraced, because they knew what they were doing. It will be a huge mistake on Carlo's part if he keeps Ms Vetrano on board. Even, many of Carlo's supporters, will not like that particular choice. |

Well Janice, oh I mean Taylor If you knew how to do your job and did it well then the council or anyone else would have nothing to say. Truth is you pretty much alone happen to be the down fall of Mayor Hanlon
