Which "Department Heads" would you like to see replaced? The first one's I would like to see replaced are the Budget Director along with the head of City Services.

The Treasurer, Procurement Officer and City Solicitor.
D'Angelo was terminated for cause several years ago and never should have been rehired.
Pedullo isn't certified. Not sure why we're paying for him to become certified when there are qualified people out there. We need someone who understands how to work the system, not someone just learning how it's done.
Kruzevik (sp?) wasn't any good when he was in that position with McCarthy. How about someone who isn't afraid to give a legal opinion, instead of one with an attitude who talks in circles and never answers a question? Dragone is loud an abrasive but I'm told he knows his stuff. He may be okay if he's working for a mayor who wants unity and doesn't try to fight everyone. |

I'm not a fan of Mr Henderson, either. |

What mistakes in the budget book Tails? Dorman had a big influence and every department moniters their own accounts. |

Can you explain why we were paying Dorman to do what we were paying Ventrano to do Taylor? Perhaps because Ventrano isn't qualified and didn't have clue? |

Oh Taylor, you're just so damned predictable. Haven't you already thrown Dorman under the bus once already? She pulled your fat out of the fire and this is how you repay her? There would have been no budget book without her! One thing about Bev, she knows her way around a balance sheet. Janice? Not so much. Janice doesn't even know how to turn a calculator on, much less know how to use one.
And please - the budget director is supposed to be "minding the store." Everybody knows that. If all the department heads are "monitoring their own accounts" then why bother even having a budget director? |

Does anyone honestly think, Carlo would keep Vetrano on? I should hope he would be smarter than that. I think (hope) he will bring his own people on board. Why would any mayor keep most of this crew up at city hall? I would like to see Mr Kelley stay and Larry DeCoste. I'm sure there are a few others just can't think of them right now. |

Oh Freddy please. You always have something to say and be the center of attention.
I don’t care if Family Guy is a moderator or not, why do “I” have to prove everything but Family Guy comes on here with total lies about diverticulosis but that’s OK. Diverticulosis is found with a colonoscopy. Being discharged the same night NO WAY he had one and it was all discovered in one night. Not even next day. They have to rule everything out. As far as Dorman goes, Mr Hanlon did a lot for her and she stabbed him in the back for no just cause and someone that was good to her SHE threw under the bus! So don’t tell me that the budget book was complete thanks to her. It was a disaster thanks to her and Janice had enough class not to stand up and point fingers. Janice will take a year off on your dollar. At least she has dignity not like those desperate ex- Ragucci people who swayed Joe McGonagle.

Taylor . . . diverticulitis, which is what the diagnosis was, can be found using a number of test, including but not limited to a colonoscopy. It can also be discovered using an x-ray or CAT scan, as well as doing blood work. It can be treated in many ways, from a change in diet, to antibiotics in case of infection, to surgery for the most serious cases.
So tell us . . . if Ms. Dorman was such a disaster, why was she brought back to City Hall during the budget process and preparation? |

And to treat an episode of diverticulitis, they do nothing but drug them up and wait for the swelling to go down before they can ever think about a colonoscopy. My husband was in the hospital for a week on morphine and was still in severe pain before they were able to do any tests. They were afraid to rupture his intestines.

From the Mayo Clinic Website about diverticulitis; note the section about "milder cases". Not everyone has to go the colonoscopy/morphine route:
You must be logged in to see this link.
Introduction Diverticulitis develops from a condition called diverticulosis. If you're older than age 40, it's common for you to have diverticulosis — small, bulging pouches (diverticula) in your digestive tract. In the United States, more than 50 percent of people older than 60 have diverticula. Although diverticula can form anywhere, including in your esophagus, stomach and small intestine, most occur in your large intestine. Because these pouches seldom cause any problems, you may never know you have them.
Sometimes, however, one or more pouches become inflamed or infected, causing severe abdominal pain, fever, nausea and a marked change in your bowel habits. When diverticula become infected, the condition is called diverticulitis. Mild cases of diverticulitis can be treated with rest, changes in your diet and antibiotics. But serious cases of diverticulitis may eventually require surgery to remove the diseased portion of your colon.
Fortunately, most people with diverticulosis never develop diverticulitis. Best of all, you can help prevent both types of diverticular disease by including more high-fiber foods in your diet.

Tails - your take on the budget meetings is accurate. The budget books were a mess...but there wouldn't have been a budget book at all without Bev Dorman. And Taylor is completely neglecting the fact that after Ms. Dorman was "let go" during the audit fiasco, she was very quietly restored to her position rather late in the budget process, which may explain the errors. And why was Ms. Dorman brought back? Because Janice couldn't put the budget together by herself. |

And cannot be diagnosed without looking at the colon.

Tails, could you clarify please. You mentioned the $5 million dollar check. Are you talking about the big one used in the Mayor's presentation to the news media about the audit. Who are you refering to that you say designed that check. Are you speculating or do you know this based on some direct knowledge. |
