| I laughed when I read the End of the Year Report that appeared in today's Independent. According to City Hall insiders it was written by the former mayor's Budget Director who was finally fired yesterday by Mayor DeMaria. I knew that I made the right choice when I voted for Carlo. But I digress. The Report in the Independent was laughable because if the any of the persons on Mayor Hanlon's so-called Financial Team were up for the task of addressing municipal finance issues, there would have been no need for a Financial Team. The Budget Director neither had the qualifications for her job nor was she willing to grow in the job. Hence, she primarily welcomed a Financial Team as it covered up her financial shortcomings. The real joke is that there was a Financial Team at all. They should have called it a Conderacy of Dunces if this team had anything to do with providing Mayor Hanlon with municipal finance advice. His Proposition 2 and 1/2 problem created by his Budget alone proves that the Team was not the worth the time it took to set up a meeting. Anyone who was on the Team should never admit it. We should all count our lucky stars that Mayor Hanlon and his wicked witch of Budget Director are gone. |

| I have heard two different stories about Sheehan. One is he was fired yesterday, the other is he was demoted to second in charge. Does anyone know which is correct? |

Which Sheehan? The City Services department head or the head of the Building department? Maybe one was fired and the other demoted?

It was City Services, Jerry Sheehan
So far the Building Department Jim Sheehan is OK |

| I just read on "The Mirror" that Bill Hart was let go. If true, is there anyone left in the Assessors office? I think Carlo should really think about bringing Mr Keverian back. |

What's up with Mike Marchese bringing Carlo's lunch to Honey Dew Hall?
Must be discussing Steve Mazzie's future as Police Chief. I'm sure Mikey still wants him gone!!
Mikey couldn't get Hanlon to do it, so now he will try to influence Carlo.
Will Christiano be the new police chief?
Time will tell..................

| To bad about Tony, he's a good guy and always tried to do the right thing, unfortunately Jerry Sheehan and the rat brothers screwed him over and over, I think this is one that Carlo will find was a mistake, with some support getting the local 25 shop stuart to tow the mark instead of walking around like a king at City Services Tony could have done well. Paul Rat will screw anyone he can, management or union member it really doesn't make a difference, those of you who know Paul Rat know I'm telling the truth. Good Luck to Tony, I hope he does well. |

| No new news just plenty of rumors as usual. One thing for sure, auto parts will be back on sale in the Village for the same 35% of cost that they were about 4 years ago, I think the fire department will get an extra 5% off from the wannabe fire fighter. He's already trying to get his supplier from Cross St. in Malden back at city service so he can work his deals. Sorry folks but it's sad but true and the taxpayers should knoww it, watch out Brian he's a slick one. |
