Just to clear some things up, first there are more than enough police vehicles to go around, second: I work at city service and see what goes on besides being backed up by PUBLIC RECORDS. I also supported Carlo's campaign and believed what he said, Carlo was Mayor for less than 2 days when he let Lattorelli go, what time did he have to evaluate his job performance, everyone knows it was political payback. I ask Carlo or Brian right now, what were Lattorelli's duties, you evaluated his performance you should know them. I believe they listened to the Sheehans and the Pasquarella's, what a great source to screw over someone's life. I hope the rest of Carlo's decisions are based on facts or I'LL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT I VOTED FOR THE WRONG GUY |

Fatcharlie, who is Brian? and who has taken Jerry Sheehans place? Most of us figured you worked in City Services just by the amount of knowledge you had about the goings on down there. |

Brian Zaniboni, he was Carlo's campaign manager, he's an ex truck driver who now is the city service director replacing Sheehan, he might end up doing a very good job, but a truck driver as director, again where are the qualifications. |

You are all very quick to judge. What if this fixes the problems? |

Sheehan's last job was a janitor for Jordan's Furniture.
This guy is a truck driver......
Hmmmmmmmm.
Well, we will be getting one inch to two inches of snow per hour on Monday, probably a foot of snow total.
I guess we will see if the truck driver knows what he's doing.
God help us.......

Is Brian the same guy that lead a long shot candidates campaign to one of the biggest political upsets in recent memory? If he can guide a campaign through the landmined landscape that is Everett politics, I have no problem with him running City Services.

I do not know Mr Zaniboni, I wish him the best and hopes he does a great job.
My question is, what does running a political campaign have to do with running Everett's City Service Department? I don't follow your line of thinking, one has nothing to do with the other. My son is a chef and is excellent at his job, should he apply to become our new budget director? |

How about a sous chef at a four star restaurant? Of course, replacing our most recent budget director with a 5th grader would be an improvement. |

I believe the actual title is Executive Director of City Services and Glenwood Cemetery.
Salary used to be in the low $80's. Hanlon probably jacked it up even higher for Sheehan. Don't forget to add $20K for health insurance, and a full time city vehicle to use and all the gasoline he will need.
Good deal.

We should all be so fortunate. Why does the Director or anyone for that matter have a full time vehicle? Why can't they drive their own vehicles to work and use the city vehicle during working hours only? The rest of us have to drive our own vehicles to work. This crap is all on the taxpayers dime. It needs to stop. |

No politician will actually do the right thing for fear they will upset someone who may b an asset to them or their future campaign.
You must understand, massdee, that politics is a popularity contest.
