| Yes, I only hope that the development doesn't impact the neighborhood too much. I do think the mayor should have another neighborhood meeting, only because that is what he told these people he would do. |

| Once again, no concrete plans as far as the Devens School goes. A lot of if’s and maybe’s and ….I trust him…etc….they should have been more prepared. What’s with the big rush? Hanlon did have this very same developer and was turned down flat. Why is it okay now? I don’t get it and it seems to me a lot of politics are being played and that’s not fair to the people that live in that area. When you rush, you make a mistake and I'm seeing a lot of that with this administration. |

Is there something wrong with presenting a plan before approving a sale?
Isn't there something wrong with a developer handing over the city almost a $1 million with no guarantee that he is going to be able to build something that resembles what he originally proposes. Doesn't that have lawsuit in the making written all over it? Let's hope not.
Public meeting space in a private, 65 and over development. Does that sound right?
Besides one meeting, what is the difference between now and last August? Was never a fan of him as mayor but John Hanlon has every right to be pissed tonight. Politics in this city bite.
I agree with Massdee. I have no problem with the sale of the building, but for full disclosure, I don't live in that area. The mayor promised to have more meetings with the residents. He should have had one more meeting with the residents, relayed the answers to the questions asked at the prior meeting and let them know what his intentions were.

I certainly hope that the city council members are privy to more information about large dollar items like these than gets presented at the meetings. And just for the record, this is a concern that I've had for a number of years, not just with the present administration.

Whatever....I shouldn't be this way on any item but I'm just tired of this. 12...25, what's the difference? At least it might disappear on the agendas for a while.
Bruno would be lost without the Clerk of the Common Council and the Clerk of Committees.
Yeah, it's great that Bruno agrees with DiFlorio about taking items out of order. But what does she do about it? After this comment, the Common Council worksheet, an item that is not even supposed to get any discussion per council rules, gets taken out of order. The inmates are running the asylum. And Councilor Simonelli, part of the job description of the city solicitor is to be an attendee at city council meetings. Since Ms. Deveney seemed to be filing that role tonight, she wasn't going anywhere. |

| Mayor DeMaria always has to have someone else come to the podium to answer questions. I wish he would come to these meetings more prepared. |

| I don't see a problem with having a department head answer questions. I would say that in most successful organizations, a CEO would always defer to a department head for answers to questions in which the department head is the subject matter expert. |

| I've been told that the Common Council meeting replay did not air this morning at its usual 11 AM airing. Anybody have any idea why? I've also been told that there seemed to be an extra airing of last night's school committee meeting on ECTV-15 at 11:00 AM this morning. |

| I bet it has something to do with the landfill in Newburyport. His disregard for the citizens of Newburyport is starting to affect us in Everett. We need to stop this man.....who is he to screw with the scheduling on ECTV. |

| The meeting always re-runs Monday night's at 11:00 PM but for some reason did not. What is it the the powers that be are not happy with? As far as downplaying another persons suffering......Pity Hall has too much time on their hands. Maybe one of the female legal team can go back to working at a law firm and give the taxpayers a break. |

Look Dont blame anybody at City Hall for this or anybody else. Dont listen. There is only one person in the whole world that can be all about the money and care less about other people than herself like this and they can have 3 identies or 10 identies it doest matter. My wife is a genious and we know the truth and we saw it ourselves its her. she is a nobody. Just ignore her she will go away but come back later as someone else. She doesnt care about anybody but herself. I guess the mirror is broken in the room to talk.
