The position was cut in the FY09 budget; I have been surprised that he hasn't seemed all that outwardly pissed about it. |

I just finished watching the tape of last night's CC meeting. Mr Ranieri stated that Adam Ragucci has been transferred to the Dedham Best Buy store. |

Well if that is true, I would bet money that the Dedham store has no idea what was going on in Everett.

I really don't know anything about any of it. I was just passing along what was said last night at the CC meeting. I was not around for the CC meeting when they filled Hickey's seat. Did the two candidates go into their backgrounds at all? |

Don't concern yourself Massdee, it's just Sally being Sally...............
Whenever there's an opportunity to allude to a problem with a Ragucci, she jumps all over it and waits for someone to chime in. There's obviously never any solid foundation or proof of any wrong doing because all we get is innuendo and speculation. |

I have no idea about what happened in Everett but Adam is a Customer Associate Supervisor in the Dedham store. I cant imagine that anything would be too terrible if he continues to work for Best Buy and that's IF these rumors are true. |

I just google mapped it. Looks like it's a house with a driveway. Maybe there is a handicap sign there, I dont know. It was not written on the agenda very good/clear.
I thought maybe it was a business, but it's all houses on the street. Who writes this stuff? The councilors? Does anyone look at these agenda items before they get out and ask for clarification?
BTW- Stay clear of the square today. Two politicians.... with their supporters....= TRAFFIC JAM. |

Much of the language in item #16 is lifted directly from the ordinances referenced within the piece; the actual section for the second ordinance referenced is Section 167 though.
Chapter 18, Section 131 lists 14 different places where parking is not allowed. Some of them are possibilties in this case (sidewalks, driveway, fire hydrants, handicap access); others are not. The exact nature of the request should have been included in the item for clarity.
The bottom line is that this is just another "face time" issue. The property owner probably has a legimate gripe and it needs to be addressed; but, the entire Common Council shouldn't have to get involved to resolve it. If every property owner and citizen had their issues placed on a City Council agenda, these meetings would be endless, as RVC pointed out at an Alderman's meeting a couple of weeks ago. |
