If Woodwaste was relocated, what kind of remediation would be needed at their present location? Isn't the land there now contaminated? If it is, even if they moved to an enclosed location, we still have the problem of cleanup of the old location. Based on past history, we know Mr Thibeault will say whatever we want to hear and then do whatever he wants. (Which is generally nothing)
So tell me just wondering, what exactly do we gain by giving him what he wants?

| after seeing the mayors address at the joint meeting, there will be alot of cuts and people will begin double duty, Pedulla was let go I believe his is there until friday but not sure. The other person that was fired I am not going there it will get out soon. According to the Mayor "THERE WILL BE MAJOR EMPLOYEE CUTS AND JOBS WILL BE REASSIGN" |

Lame ducks until June...not sure how that makes sense...other people weren't afforded that luxury...hate to ever see anyone lose their job, but what is this doing for the tax payer?
Another shoe to drop? Have no ideas....(here it comes again)....I guess, we'll just have to wait and see. |

All along the Mayor has said he will take some time to evaluate positions and decide what positions could be eliminated through consolidation, what positions can be eliminated because there isn't enough work to justify it and equally as important determine what people are successfully doing the job they are paid to do.
I think this is exactly how things should be done. In a corporation with a 100 million dollar budget, a new CEO doesn't walk in and cut positions until he knows what everyones job is, how they do it, whether or not they do it well and who will do it when they are gone.

| I agree, but that hasn't quite held true with the VSO. Still waiting since February for that position to be filled. |
