I just read the comment below on that website:
"Mayor DeMaria claims that ISD Director Position isn't filled. We have found out that the new Director will be Brian Zaniboni and he will be given a raise as ISD Director. While Police and Firemen are being laid off..."

Has anyone else heard this, because this is not what was told Monday night, from the Mayor's mouth. |

That certainly was a rumor last year when the idea of an ISD was first mentioned. It wasn't anything I posted but it is definitely posted in a thread somewhere on this board. The mayor mentioned Monday night that one of the qualifications for the ISD director would be that they were a licensed building inspector. I'm not aware that Mr. Zaniboni has this qualification.
But, I also think that it is interesting that the mayor's new chief of staff has some highway department experience from when he worked in Somerville. |

With members of both the Police and Fire Departments in the audience the Mayor continues to hide the truth about layoffs in both departments.
The solicitor took time to log off of FaceBook long enough to save the Mayor from having to actually say there would be layoffs.

The rumor mill is buzzing.....this is all unconfirmed......if and when I can confirm, I will update.
I was told Zaniboni is sending out his resume.
Allegedly, the spouse of a Common Councilor is being investigated by the State Police for a road rage incident last Saturday on the Parkway.
Allegedly, a Common Councilor was seen at the EPD, over the weekend, trying to get a speeding ticket dismissed.
I was also told a woman will be taking out papers today to run for mayor.
Also, we will soon be hearing about someone else running for Common Council Ward 5.
Just thought I would share what I have been hearing.

I heard about the alleged road rage in Revere, and all I can say is, WOW.
The speeding tickets, I'm not surprised at all.
PLEASE may this female pull papers and run for mayor. I'd love to hear what she has to say, and best of luck to her.
I'm hearing five people running for common council in ward five. We defiantly need change there. It's also apparent that a new person in ward four will be elected to the common council, he has a lot of support behind him. The question is, which one will have the less votes, Leo, Daniel or Stacy? |

I thought you people were better than that.
Un-named rumors about spouses?
Give me a break. |

The City Solicitor Mejia or the Assistant City Solicitor Murphy? Assistant City Solicitor Murphy's mother, Judy Murphy, is an RN who also was on Mayor DeMaria's campaign video from the last election.

And I just heard the person going into the Parking Clerk's Office will be supervising her son! I know she has the right to bump someone, but I don't think this should be allowed. There's definitely a conflict of interest there............... |
