If you happened to watch the Public Service meeting last week, Councilor Cardello introduced the person that he has been pushing as a buyer of the old High School. The person happened to be at that meeting because he is now "managing" the Wood Waste operation for Mr. Thibeault.

Great, just what we need! I didn't get a chance to see the meeting. So Councilor Cardillo doesn't have a problem with Mr Thibeault fingers being in the old High School sale. Sad!!

Here's another rumor I heard today, the mayor wants to appoint Wayne Matewsky to Everett Housing and is asking Mike Mangan to resign his position to open up a spot for Wayne. Time will tell if this is true or not.

Any thoughts on why the mayor would even consider this?

If true......let me tell ya......I'm quite certain that Mike Mangan will not move DOWN the ladder, but up. Between this, and the Al Bergonzi hire, it's VERY obvious what's going on here. It is public knowledge that Al Bergonzi was HORRIBLE with the finances and gave jobs without contracts.....and he gets awarded with another job by Carlo????

Mr Paul Lohnes, out of Cambridge, is the major developer for the Lower Broadway site. Mr Lohnes is seeking permission for the right to use Dexter Street to enter his property to begin development. Dexter Street would be more convenient since there is already a traffic light installed there.

Mr Thibeault owns the easement rights to a 20 ft. width on Dexter Street. The City of Boston owns the other 20 ft. width of the street. The City of Boston is willing to work with Mr Lohnes. Mr Thibeault is not. Mr Lohnes is willing to pay for the use of Dexter Street or buy the easement outright.

I have been told, that allegedly Mr Lohnes spoke to Mr Thibeault to try and work something out for Dexter Street. In the course of the conversation, allegedly, Mr Thibeault told Mr Lohnes that he (Mr Thibeault) owns the mayor and controls the City of Everett and his development will never take place.

This developer is willing to sink in a $100 Million down on Lower Broadway and give the City of Everett something we can all be proud of.

In my honest opinion, the Administration and the City Council should do everything in their power to help this developer to achieve his goals. Not only will this development increase our commercial tax base but it has the potential to create many jobs for the residents of Everett. It will also clean up that unsightly mess down there.

Speaking of that mess, it was also brought to my attention that allegedly, Mr Thibeault has been dumping down there for the past 3 years, on property that he never owned. Also, allegedly, he was collecting rent from someone from Revere to store things down there. How do you collect rent on property you don't own? Allegedly, Mr Thibeault did the same thing with the old city yards before he purchased it.

I was also so told, allegedly, the mayor did a walk through with or let Mr Thibeault do a walk through the old High School last November. It looks like Mr Thibeault is interested in purchasing the old EHS, allegedly, through a straw buyer from Somerville.

As I receive more updates on any this I will keep you all posted. [quote]

The Mayor went ALL OUT to help Thibeault, especially during the election with his videos, but not having the guts to name Thibeault on his campaign videos, as cowards normally do.

Carlo had better help out this developer just as much as he did Thibeault since this developer is serious about development and not looking for a dump.

Don' t forget, "the city" paid over 200 thousand dollars to Woody's Tire and Harley Davidson for their easement and not Thibeault.

As for those piles on lower Broadway people need to pressure code enforcement on a daily basis and bring them to the table and find out what they are doing about it, and who's getting the tickets, etc. Is code enforcement informing the state of this illegal dumping? Who's watching, if it's continuing. I would say it's time for a camera.

Didn't Thibeault have a trailer on lower Broadway that was not even on his property? Wonder what's in there.....

The DEP and the AG needs to know what's going on. The DEP on the dumping issue and should come from a city official, along with residents. John Carrigan from the DEP is handling it and his e-mail is : john.carrigan@state.ma.us or call him at 978-694-3299 and his fax number is 978-694-3499.

Call Martha Coakley's office Phone: (617) 727-2200

If code enforcement wont do anything, then there should be Media Inquiries to the AG’s office. All media inquiries should be directed to the press office main phone number at (617) 727-2543.

Call all the tip lines on the three networks.

I was told Sheehan was fired on Friday and the new Building Inspector from Middleton, started first thing Monday morning. Sounds like this has been in the works for a while.

Isn't Brian Zaniboni from Middleton? I wonder if there's a connection? I hope it's not a Thibeault connection. I know Jim was told everything was fine, and last Friday was a shock to him and now he's gone?? In my opinion he was used to shut people up about Wood Waste, and never follow through on his 20.00 per day violation, then he was thrown away like yesterday's trash!

Nice people. Those are the REAL evil ones that look all nice & friendly on the outside...........but stab you in the back for a buck.

The new inspector is from Littleton, not Middleton.

I heard the reason Jim was let go is because he never got one of the licenses that the building inspector should have. Word is he was asked to get it and just never got around to it.

I heard that Mr Sheehan had six more months to get his license and he was reassured his position was secure until he got it, as long as he received it in the next six months. Supposedly this all happened two weeks before he was let go.

Just relaying what I heard. Of course it's second hand and unconfirmed.

Okay, I was out tonight and heard two different rumors. One, Sergio is running for the State Rep seat as an Independent at the urging from the mayor and Rosa is also going to run for that seat. Has anyone else heard this?
