| ok did anyone hear this one, joanne gregory is the secretary of code enforcement starting Monday and the secretary that is there now is the director of 911 at a high salary, another fine mess by the mayor of this city |

That's my understanding and if true, I have a problem with that.
I wound not have a problem if it was the private sector, I do however have a problem with the way taxpayer monies are being handled. It's going to be like taking taxpayer money and just throwing it out the window. |

| Well if she is going out on leave soon, then who will be in charge at 911? Why wasn't the next person in line promoted to Director? It just kind of seems like a waste. |

| Sounds to me like they tried to squeeze Joanne Gregory in for a job.......... awarded someone for making the move..............and in the meantime, the 911 director gets let go without justification and on the unemployment line ALL on our dime. |

| First time poster here. I usually just read what's posted but this time just had to reply. Tails, I usually love reading your posts and find them very informative, but saying the 911 director was let go without justification is simply not true. The man never worked a full day, had ridiculous policies in place, which he couldn't remember himself on a regular basis, played favorites and asked them what they thought before making decisions that he seemed incapable of making on his own and spent more time being a "yes man" for police and fire, than directing 911, just to cite a few. There were not many sorry to see him go. Taxpayers were already ripped off every time he collected a paycheck! Just talk to some who work there. They could tell you plenty. |
